Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, We're going to take a look at this five foot long Anderson to battery clamp cable for the Red Arc solar charge controller. Now this cable is designed to connect your Red Arc solar controller directly to your battery terminals. It uses this Anderson connector here, that'll plug into your regulator and then the battery clamps quickly attached to your battery terminals. Do you notice also right here, if flip this open, you'll see it has a built-in 40 amp input fuse and that'll provide current protection.
Now the Anderson connector allows for nice easy plug and play set up. These high quality Anderson connectors are very simple and fast to connect with. There's no screw terminals, and there's no risk of any poor connections from frayed riders or loose terminals. Just plug it in and play. You're all ready to go.
Specs on this again. The total length if we wound this out out of the five feet, the wire size they using this as 11 gauge size wire. Has a 30 amp current rating; and a 50 volt DC max voltage rating.
