Adam: What's going on, everybody Adam here with Etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at a standard incandescent bulb. This is going to be a replacement for your bulb types 1003, also known as B6, that is going to replace it whether it's just fogging up a little bit or it's broken. It's going to help you we'll light the way. So let's just go ahead and get to some of the features. As far as dimensions go, we're going to have an overall length of the bulb of about an inch and 3/4.
And then we are going to have a bulb diameter of 3/4 of an inch. And the fitting here is going to be 3/4 of an inch long.As far as power goes, the standard incandescent bulb is going to draw about 0.94 amps. And that's going to be about 12 watts of power. It's only going to give us about 180 lumens, not a whole lot. There's definitely some more efficient and brighter options.
So go on our website and check those out. We are going to have all that power going through your standard BA15S fitting, and it is just going to be a solid single contact. So just make sure that all of your fixtures doesn't have the dual contact and you should be good.When it comes to the light bulbs, both in my house and my RV. I don't use standard incandescent bulbs. I highly recommend against these just because there is so many more efficient and brighter options.
You want more light and want loo use less power, that seems like a no brainer to me. these are not the option. Go on our website, check out all the LED light bulbs that we have. We have a bunch of them in a bunch of different shapes and sizes to fit all your different lighting fixtures in your RV. All in all, they're definitely going to work if you really liked these, go for it, but there's better options on our website.
