Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a real quick look at this Replacement Dexter Bolt-On Shock Kit. Now, this is going to replace your current shocks to provide a more comfortable towing experience. This is going to work for 2-3/8 inch and 3 inch in diameter axles with 1-3/4 inch wide springs. The sturdy steel construction is going to ensure strength, and this black phosphate coating is going to protect against rust and corrosion. So it does include these two shocks, and as you can see, I do have the hardware kind of loosely attached here just to kind of give you an idea of the hardware placement.
So, again, you're gonna get the two shock absorbers, and you're gonna get the hardware, and this is gonna be for a single axle. And instructions are included to walk you through the installation process. Well, that's gonna conclude our real brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy.

Even though it wasn’t required or recommended, I found it much easier to remove the old broken shocks and install the new ones with the wheels off.

I was able to get my hands on one and get the fully retracted length (pictures below), but couldn't get the extended length without having a trailer to mount the brackets to and half install to measure it. 6K axles are typically 3" in diameter so this kit would be a compatible fit.
