The product was delivered one day before the due date. I installed it the next day just before the oncoming snow and my plow worked perfectly. Very satisfied

Was a great product, easy install and cheaper then just replacing a single failed relay, so now have a backup relay from old unit but greater reliability with new control unit, I recommend this route to great satisfaction and reliability.

- Can Power Wires Be Switched On Bulldog Winch BDW15001 To Accommodate Battery DistanceI spoke to the tech at Bulldog Winch and the Bulldog Winch Powersports Series ATV Winch part # BDW15001 power unit 18" wire and 6' wire can be switched but you would need to open up the power unit box and actually switch the wires in the circuits and not just wire them switched. Bulldog has had a lot of issues where customers have switched the wires and burned out the relays and wiring inside the power unit. The 2 relays can be replaced with part # BDW20101 but the wiring will most likely...

For further reference, if the winch only extends and doesn't retract or vise versa then odds are the relay just went bad and you do not need to replace the entire Power Unit part # BDW20115 to fix this, just the relay part # BDW20101 which you may want to just get a few extras of.
