This adapter kit allows you to use your Blue Ox Base Plates with a curt, draw-tite, Reese , tow-ready or valley tow bar system.So again, it fits directly into the Blue Ox base plate system. The brackets install easily between the base plate tabs and secure in place with the pins and clips that came with your Blue Ox base plates. This portion right here works in conjunction with a curt, draw-tite, Reese, tow-ready and valley tow bar system.It connects to the tow bar using the hardware that came with your tow bar. It comes with two adapter brackets. These brackets are made from durable steel, and they feature a nice black powder-coated finish to resist rust and corrosion.

I have a Reese towbar and these look like they will fit fine. They only have one tab, opposed to Blue Ox's normal three, but they are build with Blue ox's typical high quality and should be just what I need.

These have worked great for 9 months of intermittent towing on my Reese towbar to Blue Ox base plate.
This part allows me to connect my tow bar to a Blue Ox base plate on my 94 Suzuki Sidekick but doesn't fit as snugly as I would have liked it to. This can be resolved with a few washers so it isn't a big problem....just would have been nice it they had included them with the adapters.
The product was excellent as was the instructions. I am a person that likes to do all maintenance and mods. I found the blue ox very easy to install. We have towedd the car approximately 7000 miles and no issues at all.
They work just fine on Harbor Freight towbars. Towed several times without issues.
These adaptors allowed me to use a tow bar which was much cheaper. I really appreciated my salesperson, who helped me come up with a set of equipment that was very well priced and still fit all my needs.
