Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this UWS 59 inch long, custom-fit, UTV crossover style toolbox in the matte black diamond tread finish. Now, this UTV crossover style toolbox is a perfect way to add secure storage to your UTV, which is a vehicle that are made specifically for outdoor work. This will attach to the UTV bed and it allows your UTV to transport cargo, keep tools on hand in the field. Now, this will install with the included vehicle specific brackets right here.

And it is designed for a custom-fit on certain years of the Polaris Ranger 1000 UTVs. The box itself is a .058 of an inch extra thick, one-piece, aluminum box. It'll hold heavy tools and cargo. As we mentioned, it's aluminum construction. Has fully welded seams, so it's guaranteed not to rust.

And it has a nice, matte black powder coat diamond tread finish to it. If you notice on the front, it has the stainless steel handles right here. These latches that are on both sides for security and corrosion resistant operation. And because they're widespread handles, you can see, it makes it very easy to reach from either side of the UTV to open your toolbox. If you notice on the driver's side, there's a lock with two keys to lock it for security.

But to open it, just pull up on your latch and it releases it and the lid opens. And as I mentioned, if you're on that side, you could pull that one and it would open it. You don't have to do both of them. And then when you go to close it, let me just show you how you could lock it close. Close your lid.

And then your key, just turn it a quarter of a turn clockwise. Take out your key. And then that locks the handles from opening. Same down there. You can't open the handle, so it keeps it protected. And then to unlock it, just go ahead and put your key back in. Turn it back and now it's unlocked. Now, I did wanna zoom in and show you the inside. And we'll go ahead and pop it back open. But on the inside there, they have a connecting rod that'll connect both of these latches, one to the other. So, it allows for a convenient operation, as we mentioned, from either side, driver's and passenger side. But one of the nice things about it is they put this enclosure, this full length enclosure over that rod, and that's to protect it from any damage to that rod. If it wasn't protected, you might have something stored in here that would go up against it, maybe damage, break that rod, dent it, bend it, whatever and it would keep you from opening your lid. This way, with this enclosure over the rod, it protects it from any type of damage like that. On each end, it has slots. On that end and this end. And that's where the mounting brackets right here that are included would go to on each end to secure it to the UTV bed. Does use a beveled lid. Just wanna push it down a little bit to show you. The beveled lid basically means there's no sharp edges on it. You can see they bevel the edges there. And it is a patented foam filled lid, provides insulation and protection from the elements. And it is a structural foam. It does reinforce the shape and strength of the lid. Does use a foam seal around the whole outside of the lid here. And that foam seal will protect the contents from the elements. It does have the heavy-duty gas cylinders. One down here and you can see one on the other end. Those gas cylinders will help lift the lid and hold it in the open position like this. And the hinge they use on the lid is a full length piano hinge that gives you extra support of the lid. Few specs I wanna do on this, we're gonna zoom out and I'm gonna give you the overall dimensions, and then the interior dimensions, but basically, the overall dimensions. Get my tape measure here and we'll go one end all the way to the other end, and it's 59 1/4 inches long. The width, front to back, 11 1/2 inches wide. Overall height, nine inches tall. And when you do close this lid, it'll add about one inch to those measurements. The interior dimensions, now, the interior, this portion here, you can see this section that sticks out. This is what'll go on over when you install it over the UTV rails on the bed. So, your interior dimensions is basically gonna be the lower portion for the length, which is 52 inches. And again, on the inside is right at 10 inches. And the depth of it inside is right at nine inches. So, this will give you an interior capacity of about 3.5 cubic feet of usable space. But again, just to close the lid, we'll go ahead to pull it all the way down. And then again, you turn it a quarter turn, it'll lock it.
