Replacement Spindle Options and Hubs for an Obsolete 1-3/8 Spindle

Question:

Im looking for 3 replacement hubs for my Carry-On trailer specifications are as follows: Five Lug Studs On 4-1/2 Pattern Fits 1-3/8 Spindles Hub Would like to know which hub would fit this criteria, and I do use bearing buddy caps for frequent grease maintenance. Oh would like to know if these can be had with a portable case for storage? Appreciate any help on this matter.

I did some research on your spindles because I was not able to find anything on our site, and it turns out your 1 3/8" spindles are obsolete and replacement parts are no longer available.

With that being said, I recommend changing out your spindles for the current size spindles. This is going to be very useful when finding replacement parts in the future or in the event of a breakdown.

For a 3,500-lbs axle you can use the #84 E-Z Lube Spindle w/ Brake Flange # TRU74FR, with the Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # AKIHUB-545-35-EZ-K, Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K & the Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35-SA.

Or

If you have 5,200-lbs axles you can use the #42 E-Z Lube Spindle # TRU37FR, with the Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # 8-231-50UC1, the Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K, and the Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-7-SA.
