Air Bag Helper Spring Lift Spacers For Firestone Ride-Rite Springs On a Lifted 2002 Ford F-250
Question:
has anyone put air bags on a 2002 ford f250 4x4 with a 6 inch lift

Expert Reply:
Yes, for installing the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2550 on your 6" lifted 2002 Ford F-250 you will only need a lift spacer. You will need to verify the amount of rear lift on your truck as often a 6" lift will have a front 6" lift and rear 4" to level the truck. Firestone offers their lift spacers in the following sizes.
1-1/4" Spacers # F2536
2" Spacers # F2366
3" Spacers # F2367
4" Spacers # F2370
5" Spacers # F2373
6" Spacers # F2374
I recommend using the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System # AL58WQ to control the air pressure in the springs. This system allows you to control the air pressure in each spring from your smartphone using the Air Lift app. Once set the smart manifold on the compressor monitors the air pressure for you to keep it within 3psi of your settings. This ensures you will not damage your air springs from under pressure and not have to continuously check the air pressure in the springs.
