Trailer Hitch and Wiring Harness for a 2009 Mazda Speed3 Grand Touring
Question:
Will you please confirm that you have a hitch available for a 2009 mazda speed3 grand touring modle.If you do have a hitch available will it require any modifications to the car?Please note that this is a mazda speed3 grand touring 5door and will have a slight difference from a mazda 3 sport 5door.Thank you and look forward to your response regarding my concerns.

To make sure I got you the correct answer, I called the manufacturer to triple-check. The Curt hitch, part # 11386, will not fit the MazdaSPEED model. The Draw-Tite hitch, part # 24816 will fit a 2009 Mazda Speed3 Grand Touring. The wiring system is different on the Grand Touring model, so you will need to be sure to purchase and install a T-One Wiring Harness, part # 118420, on your vehicle. You will need to drill to enlarge four holes on the frame of your vehicle, but you will not need to alter any fascia or trimming. Also, notice in the installation instructions that the mounting position for a Speed3 and 5-door is different than the 4-door models.
