Lift Kit and Cushioned Equalizer For a 2022 Kaufman 7' X 14' Enclosed Trailer
Question:
We have a new 2022 Kaufman 7x14 Enclosed with tandem axels, now built out by wife and I Total weight now 3300lbs. The axels are marked 3.5K Dexter springs and as I am desperately needing a little height from ground please help me determine a 2 increase. I ALSO think Id like to improve ride with an equalizer but dont understand eye reference in literature. As wife and I are seniors and first time trailer owners please help us to ID correct upgrades for a local shop to modify for us. THANK YOU.

The Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit # RR23QX contains all the parts needed to raise your leaf sprung axles on your 2022 Kaufman 7'x14' enclosed trailer 1-1/4" or 2-1/4". This can also be used to adjust your axles and ensure they are aligned correctly on your trailer. I have linked the installation instructions below so you can see how these work to raise and align your trailer axles.
For a cushioned equalizer the Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit # K71-652-00 will likely be the one you need. The eye reference is based on the distance from the center of hole on the front shackle to the center of hole on the rear shackle of the equalizer. This one is designed for replacing a Curved Equalizer # TREQ104 that is 5-3/4" from center of front hole to center of rear hole. If you have a different style or length equalizer please send me the measurement of your equalizer and I can help find the correct one for your application.
