For your 2022 Subaru Outback, I'd recommend a partially concealed hitch like the Draw-Tite Class III hitch, part # DT73RR.
For a trailer wiring harness, I'd recommend the Tekonsha # 118467 that you'd looked at. For a ball mount, use part # 2753 and # 19260 for a 1-7/8 or # 63845 for a 2 inch trailer ball.
