Will Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter Add Rise or Drop to Trailer

Question:

Presently my tow vehicle base is one inch higher than my RV receiver. If I add a dual receiver to be able to carry a bike rack will the extension lower my RV criteria ground to center height? It appears they have a downward slant and my concern is adding to the tow bar not being level. I feel fine with it being off one inch, I’d prefer I didn't make it more. Thanks

Adding a dual hitch receiver adapter will not add any rise or drop to your towing set up so you could easily use the dual hitch receiver adapter without issue. The Malone Dual Hitch Extender for 2" Trailer Hitches # MPG544 will be straight out and isn't at an angle but that inch is not going to be problematic. Getting 100 percent level in any towing set up is difficult so a single inch is going to be fine.

This dual adapter has a long 12" extension and will give you a pair of receivers for your bike rack. You will need to secure it to your tow vehicle hitch with either Pin and Clip # PC3 or, for more security, Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # e98880.

I have added a link to a couple video reviews for you to check out as well of the Malone Dual Hitch Extender for 2" Trailer Hitches # MPG544.
