Hello, The description of the hitch Im inquiring about suggests the receiver is removable, though the images provided suggest otherwise. Please let me know what is actually the case with this device. Thank You,

The hitch opening of the EcoHitch # 306-X7291 is not removable like some versions of the EcoHitch offer. For your 2011 Honda CR-V there are no options that have removable hitch openings but this hitch is about as hidden as it can be since only the hitch opening is visible underneath the rear bumper of the vehicle.
