It sounds like you are wanting to power a 12 volt light like the Optronics LED RV Interior Double Dome Light with Switch part # RVILL34 in your camper using the 7-way on your tow vehicle. If that is the case then you will first need to test the 1 o'clock pin on the vehicle's 7-way with a circuit tester while the vehicle's key is in the off position. If there is power here then you're good to go and can skip to the next paragraph below but if there is no power while the vehicle's key is in the off position that means the circuit is keyed so it will only stay on while the vehicle's key is in the on/acc position. I am sure you don't want to have to have the vehicle running to power the light inside your camper therefore you will need to run the 12 volt wire yourself to the 7-way from the vehicle's battery. In order to do this you will need 10 gauge wire part # 10-1-1 (per foot) as well as a 40 amp circuit breaker part # 9510. The power wire will need to be attached to the positive terminal on the tow vehicle and then ran to the 7-way with the circuit breaker placed in between (6" from positive battery terminal), replacing the existing 12 volt power wire. If you want to switch back to having the circuit keyed when you are done camping then you can chose to do so.

Once the 7-way has power while the vehicle is off you can then run the power wire from the 12 volt light like the above to the back of the trailer side trailer connector, the same pin which corresponds to the 1 o'clock pin on the vehicle's 7-way (see photo).

If the above process is not something that you wish to partake in then we do have battery powered lights like the NightMinder Task Light part # NM-MOTION-011 as well as solar powered lights like the Solar Powered LED Porch Light for RVs part # DG0168. Please note an LED light will be best for you camper as that will have the lowest chance of draining the battery but I do recommend you start the vehicle every so often to prevent it from dying while the light is drawing power.
