Installing a 4-Way on a Trailer that has a Green, a Yellow, a White, and 2 Brown Wires
Question:
Im installing a 4 pin connector on my trailer to connect to your connector 118467 on my 2013 subaru. There are three wires from my trailer, a green/brown, a yellow/brown and the ground white. The 4 pin connector Im wiring to has four wires, a yellow, green, brown and a ground white. Can you tell me how to wire the two paired wires from the trailer to the three single wires on the connector? Do I split the paired wires and take both browns from the paired wires to the single brown wire on the connector and then wire the left over yellow to the connectors yellow and the green to the connectors green? Hope this makes sense and thanks for your help.

It sounds like you have the typical wire colors for your trailer (see attached picture). If that is the case then you will need to do exactly what you are talking about to install a 4-Way connector on your trailer like part # HM38134.
The Brown wire should be the running lights which will need to be spliced together and then connected to the Brown wire on the 4-Way harness.
You can verify that you are connecting everything correctly by verifying that the functions on the Tekonsha T-One # 118467 match up with the wires on your trailer. If you need to, you can use an alternate source of 12V power (Use your vehicle battery positive terminal to apply power to wires. Negative terminal should be grounded) to verify the following functions and colors on your trailer side:
Green - Right Turn
Yellow - Left Turn
White - Ground
Brown - Tail/Marker
