Trailer Hitch & Wiring Harness Fits for 2015 Kia Sorento EX  

Question:

Looking at your hitch for my 2015 Sorento EX V6. I think all 2015 Sorento EX have a tow prep pkg....do you know? If not all do, how can I tell? Thanks.

The surest way to find out if your 2015 Kia Sorento EX has the factory tow package or not is to ask your local dealership to run the car's VIN through their computer. This will tell them exactly what factory equipment was installed.

We do offer hitches for both versions and these include both 1-1/4-inch Class II types as well as 2-inch Class III hitches. This larger hitch is what I recommend for its higher capacity and better compatibility with most hitch-mount accessory items like bike and cargo carriers.

Curt 2-inch hitch # C13152 will fit on models with or without the Kia Factory Tow Prep Package and this offers the highest capacity of any available hitch. It also happens to be the least costly option among our Class III hitches. An install video is linked.

If you need a wiring harness use part # C56332 if you DO have the tow prep package, or part # C56256 if you do not. An article to help with wiring installation is linked for you. For a ball mount you can use the recommended part # C45030 along with a hitch ball like 2-inch # 63845 or 2-5/16-inch # 63847.
