Replacement Master Cylinder for Mastercraft Boat Trailer

Question:

Hi Looking for a replacement cylinder for a mastercraft boat trailer. Reliable master cylinder part number MC 001. Need to have reverse solenoid as well. I was told their was a Titan in replacement but not sure if this information is correct.

I've looked through the various replacement master cylinders we offer, and couldn't find anything that matches your photo. I found out that Reliable stopped manufacturing brake actuators several years ago, and replacement parts aren't available.

If you can't get a replacement from the trailer manufacturer, it looks like replacing your hydraulic coupler would be your best bet. I'll link you to our selection of brake actuating couplers. On the left side of the page, you'll see a number of filters that will allow you to narrow down your choices according to whether you need a bolt on or a weld on coupler, the width of the trailer tongue, the capacity needed, the trailer ball size, whether it's for a disc brake or a drum brake application and whether you're wanting an electric, manual or no lock-out.

Titan or Atwood make several different brake actuating couplers that might be a good choice for you. Both are reputable companies that make quality products. From what I saw in the some of the forums, many regard Reliable's actuators as junk.
