There are three basic types of heat exchangers. Tube and fin, plate and fin and stacked plate. Stacked plate being the most efficient. Take a look at the informative article about oil coolers I included.
The cooler I recommend is the Derale stacked plate oil cooler kit with Sandwich adapter # D15602 because it's super efficient and one of our most popular ones we currently offer. It will reduce oil temps by as much as 50 degrees. The external lines via the sandwich adapter makes installation easy and you won't need to reposition the oil filter.
The oil cooler you referenced # D15551 will work fine too, but requires you to move your oil filter.
I recommend you measure the space you have for installing a transmission cooler to gauge which cooler will fit best. The best three positions to mount the transmission cooler in order. At Position A, where the transmission cooler is 100% efficient, mount the cooler between your vehicle's grille and the AC condenser core. Position B, between the air conditioning condenser and radiator, is 75% efficient while Position C, between the radiator and fan, is only 60% efficient. See diagram to the right. Transmission coolers are more efficient when they receive maximum air flow.
I added a couple more informative articles for you too.
