How to Raise a Trailer 1 inch to Offset Height Lost from Installing Dexter EZ Flex Equalizer

Question:

I am wanting to install Dexter EZ-Flex equalizers on my Forest River 2014 Sandpiper 30IOK. When talking to Dexter, they said the equalizer would lower my trailer 1inch because I currently have the Dexter EQ-310. I cant do an axle flip because my axle is already under the leaf spring. Could I install a 1inch block lift to compensate for the difference?

As long as you use a qualified fabricator with trailer suspension experience you could have him weld in a spacer between your hangers so that they sit lower. Or you could install taller hangers to make up the difference. This would be the route I would recommend.

I attached a page that has all of the hangers we carry. You will want to measure yours first and then go with one 1 inch taller. Once again, you will want to use a qualified fabricator for this.
