The Draw Tite hitch part # 75670 is a fit for the 2014 Ford Taurus Police Interceptor vehicles like yours so it would be a great option confirmed as a fit.
I attached an install video for you to check out as well. view full answer...
If you are sure that the problem is a leak in the radiator and not indicative of a larger, potentially worse problem, it is possible to use a transmission cooler to bypass the factory cooler, though it is not the recommended method.
What you would need is the largest cooler that will fit in your engine compartment. You will want it as close to the airflow as possible. The out line from the transmission that is currently going to the factory cooler will instead need to go to the new cooler.... view full answer...
When installing an aftermarket transmission cooler like the Derale Series 8000 # D13502, you will want to install it on the return line for your Ford Taurus. If you aren't sure which line is the return line, you can determine this by starting with the vehicle completely cooled off. Start the Taurus and put it in drive, apply the brakes firmly and then apply the accelerator so that the rpms climb, then put the vehicle back in park and turn it off.
When you then feel the two lines coming... view full answer...
There is a Rhino-Rack system that fits your 2002 Ford Taurus but the one you were looking at fits some model years of the Ford Courier and Mazda Bravo. It's also only a single bar roof rack so it won't hold a lot on your roof.
Instead for your Taurus use # RR98SR which is a similar design and does fit your car. Two crossbars are included so you'll have a complete roof rack for carrying whatever it is you need it for.
I've also attached a link to our return policy for you. view full answer...
I attached a picture that I took from the install instructions for the Curt hitch part # C13379 and it shows that the hitch height is right inline with the height of the exhaust. You can see also that if there was any exhaust height difference it's minimal too. view full answer...
Please note that the Swagman XC2, part # S64650, bike rack is not designed to be used with recumbent bikes. You may be able to get away with a semi-recumbent. The maximum wheel base, center of wheel to center of wheel, is 51-1/2 inches. Any longer and the bike rack will not work.
The upright bar measures 26-1/2 inches long. The teeth for the hook latches do not run the entire length of the upright. The top 3-1/2 inches do not have teeth and the bottom 5-1/2 inches do not have teeth. view full answer...
It sounds like you need the two M10 x 1.50 x 45mm CL10.9 hex bolts. These bolts are available in hardware kit # RHK. The picture is just a generic one of some hardware and not the actual hardware. Enter the hitch number to get the right hardware. This will replace all of the hardware, not just the 2 bolts.
The other option is to source the M10 x 1.50 x 45mm CL10.9 bolts locally. It has to be this type of bolt and not the factory ones nor a lower grade. The factory ones are not rated the... view full answer...
The trailer wiring harness # C56093 and any wiring harness that requires a direct connection to the battery uses battery power to power the trailer lights. If not connected, it will not work and the trailer lights will not come on.
Also, this offers another level of protection between the trailer wiring and the vehicle wiring. The idea is that you are isolating the vehicle from the trailer as mush as possible to limit the chances of a short on the trailer damaging the vehicle wiring. view full answer...

According to the installation instructions for the Kvh Satellite Dish that I reviewed online you will require a crossbar spread of 35-1/2" to mount the antenna to a roof rack. However, the roof rack systems available for the 2014 Ford Taurus max out at a crossbar spread of 28 inches, so the dish will not be compatible with your vehicle's short roof.
We do offer the Darby Turbo-Rack Universal Single-Bar Roof Rack, # DTA968, (you will need two of these). These bars could be spread to 35-1/2",... view full answer...
I contacted Rhino Rack and the Rhino-Rack XTray Pro Cargo Basket part # RRRMCB03 has a weight capacity of 165 lbs.
You do want to make sure you are not exceeding the weight capacity of your roof rack bars and the roof capacity of your vehicle. The basket itself weighs 48.5 lbs. view full answer...
The Thule OutWay PRO 2-Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms Item # TH45JV is going to be the best option for your lady's cruiser bike and 2013 Ford Taurus. It has arms that adjust up and down, in and out, independently of each other and the rest of the rack. What that means is that bikes with alternative frames can be loaded without the use of an adapter bar such as # 64005.
The Passage # TH910XT will hold the bike but in all likelihood you will need to use the above mentioned adapter... view full answer...
We have trailer wiring for your 2000 Ford Taurus but the Draw Tite hitch part # 36313 does not come with it. For that you would then also want the part # C55375 which is a confirmed custom fit.
The recommended ball mount is the part # C45522 and then for hitch balls you would want part # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch ball or part # 19258 for a 2 inch ball. view full answer...
The Roadmaster Even Brake Portable Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # RM-9400 is a confirmed fit for your 2012 Ford Taurus unless your vehicle is equipped with active power assist braking system. Please check your owners manual to confirm why this is a compatibility issue. I checked with Roadmaster and they confirm a fit as well and do not recommend using a ratchet strap like you mentioned. I've attached the installation instructions to assist.

You can use a dual hitch adapter like part # MPG544, to give you some extra elevation, but be aware that using an adapter like this moves the weight being carried by the hitch further out from the receiver, which places additional leverage on the hitch and its attachment point to the vehicle. Because of this, anytime an adapter or extender is used, the tongue weight capacity of the hitch is reduced by 50 percent.
The hitches we offer for the 2012 Taurus have a tongue weight capacity of... view full answer...
