Replacement Bolts for Curt Trailer Hitch on a 2000 Ford Taurus
Question:
have lost the two bumper bolts that came with hitch, can I use the originals on car or must I buy special bolts. If yes, can you quote me on those two bumper bolts please?

It sounds like you need the two M10 x 1.50 x 45mm CL10.9 hex bolts. These bolts are available in hardware kit # RHK. The picture is just a generic one of some hardware and not the actual hardware. Enter the hitch number to get the right hardware. This will replace all of the hardware, not just the 2 bolts.
The other option is to source the M10 x 1.50 x 45mm CL10.9 bolts locally. It has to be this type of bolt and not the factory ones nor a lower grade. The factory ones are not rated the same. Trailer hitch hardware is designed to be torqued down one time only.
