If you Taurus is a Sedan or a wagon, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class II - 1-1/4"

I looked at some pictures of the rear spoiler on the 2010 Ford Taurus SHO and it does not appear that it would cause any issues. The OutWay # TH45JV should fit over it just fine.
You might also take a look at the ultimate in spoiler hopping bike rack technology, and my first choice for you, the Over-The Top, # HRF2, which is specifically designed to circumvent a spoiler. It has an extra arm structure that moves the top straps up and over the spoiler.
The 29 inch bike will not be a problem... view full answer...
Curt trailer hitch receiver # C12232 will fit the 1998 Ford Taurus sedan, both the SHO and non-SHO models, as well as the 1998 Taurus wagon. I checked the installation instructions, linked for your reference, and Curt makes no mention of any fit issues related to the dual exhaust feature. Our rep their also confirmed compatibility.
The correct wiring harness depends on the vehicle version. For the SHO and non-SHO sedans use # HM40565; for the wagon use # HM48895. view full answer...
While there is a trailer wiring harness that you can use for your 2014 Ford Taurus Police Interceptor, I checked with Curt directly and the part # C56093 is not a fit for the vehicle. Instead, what you will need is a hardwire harness, part # C59236.
If you also need a trailer hitch receiver for your 2014 Ford Taurus Police Interceptor, use the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - 2" # 75670. view full answer...
The Draw Tite hitch part # 75670 is a fit for the 2013 Ford Taurus Police Interceptor vehicles like yours so it would be a great option confirmed as a fit. view full answer...
Yes, the Thule OutWay trunk mount bike rack, # TH45JV, will fit a 2002 Ford Taurus (sedan or wagon).
If you will be carrying women's, children's, or alternative frame bikes, I recommend using the bike adapter bar, # TH982XT, for greater ground clearance and to carry the bikes more level. I have included a link to a video that shows how the adapter works. view full answer...
I spoke with my contact over at Curt and he said that for a 1998 Ford Taurus with dual exhaust trailer hitch # C12232 will fit. If you plan on doing some towing the correct ball mount is # C45522 and for a 1-7/8 inch ball use # C40001 and for a 2 inch ball use # C40018.
For trailer wiring use # HM40565 if you have a sedan and use # HM48895 if you have a wagon. view full answer...
We have not installed the stone and bug deflector # WT50107 on a Ford Taurus so we do not have a picture. I checked with WeatherTech though and it basically covers the area between the headlights. The headlights on the vehicle curve in towards center from top to bottom and the deflector is contoured to match. WeatherTech has a picture but I am unable to take it from their site. view full answer...
Yes, yes, and yes. The Thule Passage 2 trunk mount bike rack, # TH901XT, will fit the 2012 Ford Taurus sedan, the 2011 Dodge Durango, and the 2007 Volkswagen New Beetle (but will not fit convertible models). I have linked a video review of the bike rack for you to view.
If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical mens bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # TH982XT. This will allow you to carry those bikes... view full answer...
There is a Rhino-Rack system that fits your 2002 Ford Taurus but the one you were looking at fits some model years of the Ford Courier and Mazda Bravo. It's also only a single bar roof rack so it won't hold a lot on your roof.
Instead for your Taurus use # RR98SR which is a similar design and does fit your car. Two crossbars are included so you'll have a complete roof rack for carrying whatever it is you need it for.
I've also attached a link to our return policy for you. view full answer...
Transmission and oil coolers aren't vehicle specific, but in some cases the fittings needed to install them on the vehicle can be. To install the cooler on your Taurus, you'll first need to ensure you have available space to accommodate the 12-3/4 x 7-5/8 x 3-3/4 inch size of the cooler/fan assembly.
You'll need the # D15752 Install kit with thermostatic fan control for the oil cooler portion of the install and to tie in to the transmission return line, you'll need # D13014 if your car... view full answer...
According to the installation instructions for the Kvh Satellite Dish that I reviewed online you will require a crossbar spread of 35-1/2" to mount the antenna to a roof rack. However, the roof rack systems available for the 2014 Ford Taurus max out at a crossbar spread of 28 inches, so the dish will not be compatible with your vehicle's short roof.
We do offer the Darby Turbo-Rack Universal Single-Bar Roof Rack, # DTA968, (you will need two of these). These bars could be spread to 35-1/2",... view full answer...
Yes, the Roadmaster 6-Diode Universal Wiring Kit # 154-792-118158 that you referenced will fit and work well for your setup. We confirmed with Roadmaster that the kit is a fit for your 2018 Ford Taurus and it is designed to work with LED taillights so you are good in that regard as well. view full answer...
You will need to use a separate Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154 that will be separate from Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56093 on your 2017 Ford Taurus. The diode kit will only tie into the individual brake lights and running lights on the rear of your Taurus. The diodes will prevent any back feed from the vehicle to the towed vehicle. I have linked an installation video for the diodes on an older 2008 Taurus that will help you see how the diodes are wired in. The diodes will go... view full answer...
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C12296 does not fit the Police Interceptor model of the 2013 Ford Taurus. So that's not the hitch you want.
However, the Draw-Tite Max-Frame # 75670 will. If you also need trailer wiring to tow a trailer use # 118599. This will give you a 4-way connector. I've linked videos of both being installed.
The Draw-Tite # 76034 will fit the 2016 Ford Explorer Police Interceptor. I've linked a video of one we did here. The wiring you'll need is # 118540. view full answer...
We do offer one trailer hitch receiver, Curt Class II hitch # C12232, that can fit all three of your vehicles.
This 1-1/4-inch hitch will fit the 2000 Sable, both sedan and wagon; it will fit the sedan, SHO and wagon versions of the 1998 Taurus; and it will also fit both sedan and wagon versions of the 2005 Taurus. You are lucky! This kind of compatibility does not happen too often.
If you plan to tow you will need ball mount # C45522 and either 1-7/8-inch ball # 19256 or 2-inch # 19258.... view full answer...
Most likely you will also need the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400, but you'll want to go through the steps listed on the page to determine if it's absolutely needed. Roadmaster has the brake light switch wire (purple/white) listed so that usually indicates that it is going to be needed based on their testing.
This relay is to prevent the turn signal from overriding the brake signal, which is important when trying to switch lanes while slowing down or indicating... view full answer...
The 32H MightyMounts Y03532 are not a fit your the factory roof rack on your 1999 Ford Explorer. You will need to use the universal MightyMounts # Y03590. view full answer...
I recommend the Curt Class II hitch part # C12232 for the 1994 Ford Taurus because the Curt hitches have a better quality powder coat compared to the other options in our experience and they are assembled in the USA. The Curt hitch is a 1-1/4" hitch so please keep that in mind for a ball mount if you already have one.
For the wiring, I recommend part # C55327 which is a fit for the GL confirmed by Curt. This is a plug and play harness which will plug in behind the tail lights. view full answer...
Before buying snow tire chains you will want to check your owners manual or with the Ford dealer if you can install snow tire chains on your 2009 Ford Taurus SEL-FWD, or if there are any limitations.
If you have the 215/60R17 tire size on your 2009 Ford Taurus SEL-FWD the Pewag Snox Pro Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains # PWSXP560 are an excellent choice. They are self-centering and auto-tensioning chains that are simple to install. They are SAE Class S chains which means they are designed... view full answer...
