Unfortunately, the hitches we offer for a 2006 Mercedes-Benz ML500 aren't compatible with vehicles that have the air-ride suspension option. I wish we had better news for you.
If you were needing the hitch to provide a mounting point for a bike rack, you could use a hatch mounted bike rack like the Thule Gateway 2-bike model, part # TH88VR or the 3-bike model, part # TH78VR which would be a good alternative to a hitch mounted bike rack.. I've linked to a product demonstration video featuring... view full answer...
Based on all of the information I was able to find on your 2018 Ram 3500 DRW with the max tow package your truck should have a 2-1/2" trailer hitch receiver.
For a 2-1/2" receiver you will need the Curt Hitch Extension and Reducer for 2-1/2" Trailer Hitches - 24" to 34" Long # C45048 which can be used as a 34" extension of cut down to a 24" extension. This extender has a 450lb tongue weight and 4500lb trailer weight rating or 600lb tongue weight and 6000 trailer weight rating when using... view full answer...
For your 2021 Mercedes Benz GLC300 the correct hitch is the part # C84ER which is the same thing as the Curt 13477 so what you have is the correct hitch.
The # C13290 is not correct. view full answer...
Your 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 is rated to tow 3,500lbs which is enough for a couple of the smaller Forest River R-pod travel trailers. Your Mercedes chassis is not recommended to be used with a weight distribution and sway hitch. For the sway control you can install the Tuson Sway Control # 335TSC-1000 to make driving your R-pod safer.
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13290 will give you a 2" receiver to be able to tow the R-pod. It is custom fit to bolt up to your Mercedes. The... view full answer...
To help stabilize/reduce rattle with your e-bike rack on your 2022 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, I recommend the etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Stabilizer # e99007.
The etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Stabilizer # e99007 will help reduce movement, side-to-side and up-and-down. It also has a steel construction with a vinyl coating, so it is heavy duty like you are wanting.
I have included a review video that demonstrates how well this anti-rattle, hitch stabilizer works. view full answer...
For the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit # 119250KIT should not be installed tapping into another power supply like a cigarette lighter. The power draw needs to be directly from the battery to ensure you don't have a power issue from a fuse or other component that isn't designed for that use. Having power to your trailer wiring even when stored is not an issue and you don't want to keep turning power on and off to a controller... view full answer...
Best option would be a front hitch like the part # 306-X7352 to carry a spare carrier like the etrailer hitch carrier part # e98ZR so that you'd have the rear hitch to carry the bike rack like with the Hollywood Racks Trail Rider part # HR200Z. Trying to carry both the spare and the bikes on a single hitch wouldn't really be feasible. view full answer...
To install an Inno square bar roof rack on your 2018 Mercedes Benz GLA 250 the correct components are part numbers # INB117, # INXP, and # INTR162 which does attach to the flush rails on the roof of your vehicle. Then you could install the Inno Gravity Ski Carrier part # INA951 for a 6 ski rack or part # INA952 for 3 skis. view full answer...
For a spare carrier that can carry a dually wheel and tire you'd want the part # RM-195225 which we've confirmed works with dually wheels. As long as your door is more than 12-1/8 inches above the top of the hitch opening when opening this would allow the door to open when the rack is swung down. view full answer...
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13375 for your 2022 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 is 32-1/8" wide between the mounting brackets(see image). view full answer...
Both RF- and wired-type proportional Prodigy brake controllers use an accelerometer to detect braking in the tow vehicle in order to send a proportional brake signal to the trailer brakes. Performance wise they would be identical.
The P2 does have to be mounted facing a certain direction so that it can properly sense decoration though so you would need to consider that as well.
The RF # TK94FR doesn't require any permanent modification to install though which is nice and the remote can... view full answer...
As long as you've got an existing roof rack system with crossbars then you can use the Yakima LockNLoad Platform Rack for Crossbars - Aluminum - 84" Long x 62" Wide # Y05049-39 since this comes with the hardware to mount to most factory and aftermarket crossbars. If you don't already have a roof rack then you will need to add one and the roof rack you need will depend on whether or not you've got the factory mounted tracks on the high roof.
If you've got the tracks, then I recommend using... view full answer...
The Lockrack Adjustable XL Watersport Carrier # LR54FR can adjust up to 48" wide and has a maximum weight capacity of 175-lbs for one board.
This carrier will work with round, square, aero, elliptical, and most factory crossbars but can also be used with crossbars that have t-slots using the included t-bolts. view full answer...
We do have an option for you but for your 2021 Winnebago Revel Mercedes Sprinter 2500 4X4 there are currently no supporting airbag system products available. With it being so new designers haven't been able to produce a fitting product that will give you the smoother ride you're looking for.
We do instead recommend Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System product # TMBRSP25A and Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System product # TMBFSP35. Both of these are confirmed to fit your 2021... view full answer...
Hi Brian,
You can definitely make adjustments to your weight distribution hitch to fine tune it over to the new trailer. Before making adjustments I recommend loading your trailer and measuring the tongue weight # e99044 to get an accurate measurement so you can see if you need to change the spring bars out for a different capacity. If you do I'd check with EAZ Lift for replacement spring bars to make the tongue weight. view full answer...
Any roof rack is going to add some noise, especially when on the highway. However, the best option is to go with aero bars which are typically low-profile and have reduced noise and vibration.
If your 2018 Mercedes GLE is a coupe with naked roof then I recommend going with Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 53" Long - Qty 2 # TH711420 along with the necessary Feet # TH460R and Fit Kit # THKIT3152.
If your 2018 is a wagon with factory roof rails then I recommend the Rhino-Rack... view full answer...
We carry both Stainless Steel and ABS Plastic lug nuts. To know which ones would fit your Airstream Interstate 24X you would need to measure the lug nuts or see what size socket fits and then we could narrow down the selection to exactly what you need.
For example the Wheel Masters Lug Nut Covers # WM8012 you were looking at are Stainless Steel and fit 1-1/2" lug nuts. view full answer...
To increase the amperage rating of the brake controller power circuit of your 2018 Mercedes GLS for the # C51170 you'll have to bypass the vehicle wiring by running 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by foot) from the black wire of the controller directly to the vehicle battery. 15 amps really isn't enough for any brake controller to activate trailer brakes. view full answer...
I checked with Yakima about the trunk-mounted bike racks that fit a 2008 Mercedes-Benz M-Class and found out that the only fits they have for a 3-bike rack are the Yakima HangOut 3-Bike Rack # Y02638, along with the Yakima FullBack 3-Bike Rack # Y02633.
The accompanying photo is actually from Yakima and shows the FullBack on an '08 Mercedes ML350 like yours.
Of these two options the FullBack is by far the best because of its cushioned padding which keeps your bikes and Mercedes safe... view full answer...
