I contacted the manufacturer in regards to this question. Per the manufacturer the Custer Wireless LED Tow Bar Light - Weatherproof - Magnetic Base - 23" Long - 7-Way Round # LIW-LDTL-7B should be fine for several weeks after a full charge, if it is just sitting on the shelf.

Per the instructions, in step 2 the heat shields on both sides will need to be removed and trimmed to allow installation of the hitch. Currently I only see a 1-1/4" Receiver # 24972 available for your 2018 Honda Accord. We do have an Adapter # HT5R which can be used to convert the 1-1/4" to a 2" but this will reduce the rated capacity by 50%. So for the receiver it would then max out at 100lbs of tongue weight depending on your cargo load. I have heard of people either having their own receiver fabricated or altering a receiver with a different Tube # 325-GH-002. You are correct in how the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver -Class I - 1-1/4" # C11290 is mounted. This hitch has been tested to hold a maximum tongue weight of 200 lbs and a maximum trailer towing weight of 2,000 lbs when loaded. A riding lawn mower on a small trailer is probably at close to the maximum capacity of this hitch, so I recommend calculating the weights before doing this as your owners manual states 1000 lbs towing max and 100 lbs tongue weight.
