2022 Hyundai Santa Fe
Box came damaged but the hitch was not. I watched the installation videos for this and the Drawtite and decided on the Curt per the recommendation of better fitment. The install video made installation a breeze. I had one issue not with the hitch but one of the threaded holes in the frame it was whacked. It took a minute but I was able to tap out the hole and get the hitch installed. I like the fact that the frame of the hitch is hidden behind the bumper and I have plenty of room for my bike rack. Nice addition to my 2022 Santa Fe.

Installed on 2009 Honda Accord with V6. Piece of cake to install. I just use it for a bike rack that I already had. But note that I had an identical car with the 4 cylinder and I purchased the corresponding wiring harness and installed at the same time as a hitch on that vehicle as well, and I pulled a small trailer with a dirt bike for a couple of years. It worked out just fine. Never had any issues. High quality hitch and components. etrailer has always been really good to me.

Fastest shipping I have ever seen for free. Legit 2 days, completely free!!! Amazon could learn something from etrailer! Shipment tracker was also insanely detailed. Even more detailed than the native UPS website. Haven’t even installed the hitch yet but just from the shipping time on a big item they get 5 stars right off the bat. I’m sure installation will go super easy because they have videos for every item I ordered. Not just general videos but vehicle specific, right down to the year and trim! If you couldn’t tell, I’m insanely satisfied with etrailer so far and I haven’t even installed the hitch. Seems like a fantastic site! Also the hitch is Curt so it wouldn’t be a review on etrailer since it isn’t their brand. Unpacking it tho, everything looks great. Look forward to the install.

Great product! It is very well made and fit exactly like it was supposed to. This one from etrailer was made correctly unlike the one I ordered from Amazon the first time. I originally bought the exact same brand and part number from Amazon but when I received it the part was more than 2 and a half inches shorter than what it was supposed to be, the welds looked as if a monkey had did them and the edges were bent. Needless to say I returned the part to Amazon and purchased this one from etrailer. The one from etrailer measured exactly like it was supposed to and fit perfectly. Also the level of customer service and details for the order that etrailer provides is above and beyond what most places do! They provided details of the employee who processed my order, who gathered it, and who packaged it along with the tracking information. It shipped quickly and I received it a few days later. Then within minutes of delivery I received an email to confirm that it was delivered and that I was satisfied with the product. You don't typically see that level of customer care these days! AND BEST OF ALL THE PRICE WAS ACTUALLY CHEAPER FROM ETRAILER THAN IT WAS ON AMAZON!! VERY PLEASED WITH EVERYTHING. THANK YOU!

2021 Kia Sorento
I decided to not jack up my 2021 KIA Sorento SX and I was still able to install, it took about 2 hours. Although the instructions recommends another person for help to hold it in place, I used my jack stands instead. I really like how the bar is tucked in and hidden with just the hitch showing. Overall I thought installation was quicker compared to my 2016 KIA Sorento SXL and 2019 Chrysler Pacifica Touring Plus S but for those I also installed the wire harnesses. I will purchase it for this vehicle later. My experience with etrailer has been great, their prices and products in my opinion is two thumbs up.

At this point, the installation is complete. I liked the prompt shipping (plus free). The hitch appears to be as advertised. Also it doesn’t interfere with my spare tire removal (hopefully unnecessary activity)
My objective with this hitch is to carry my two E-Bikes to various locations. At 50 plus pounds each, I needed a stout hitch. Your recommended weight capacity rating should be sufficient.
I’ll remain optimistic until proven otherwise.
** A side bar note of interest to me, I have several family members living in the Wentzville MO area, they will be anxious to hear my reviews of a local company, as time passes.

The product fit very well and no rattles or shakes. I did not need to get the dealer hitch with the wiring as I use this for my bike carrier. Great quality and I have purchased 3 trailer hitches so far. Great Value

Simple and straightforward directions but install not so easy. Two man DIY. Took an hour. The passenger side arm of the hitch is difficult to access even with the muffler out of the way. The way the arm of the hitch is made creates a difficult job in getting a hand torque wrench in the right position. The E trailer video shows you how to do the driver side which is really easy and they skip the pain in the butt passenger side. you have just a few inches of sweet spot to get a torque wrench in there. The way it’s made creates a backstop that prevents you from using a long extension. If you have an automated torque wrench like the one they use in the video, it should be fairly smooth but if you buy hand torque wrench like I have, it’s more difficult. Not impossible but you’ll spend some time getting it tight. One of the side bolts I could not get a full 60 pound torque due to angle. You will need a little extension to the torque wrench of just a couple inches. Almost impossible to do it without an extension, and most extensions are too long. Overall, I would do it again as it is very straightforward, but I definitely would borrow or buy an automated bent neck torque wrench for the passenger side bolts especially the two side bolts.

Super easy to install. Super easy. They have a insulation video on the webpage that shows step-by-step how to do it. I didn’t even need to lift my car off the ground to put it on. Just tested it out this weekend on a camp out where I attached a cargo carrier and bike rack in one. It put a lot of torque on the hitch especially when you hit dips on the freeway going 70. The hitch didn’t budge. Now I just need to get heavy duty shocks.

The install was super easy and very quick. The hitch hides up under the body and all that is exposed is the area for the receiver. I would advise an extension and both deep well and regular socket head to make the install easier. Doing the install under the car on the ground added a little extra effort but was still easily accessible.
