We have no intention of towing with it, we want it in case we are stuck in snow. We've had 3 blizzards so far this year.
It took me 1 hour plus to install with jack stands and 3" of additional height.
Maybe loosen up the tailpipe.
A little awkward getting the first 2 bolts in but after that "a piece of cake"!
So far its great after a year, i use this hitch to haul my bikes. No complaints for now. Dont see any rust yet.

Great! No problems.
Thank God for this hitch looks good and tucks under car bought for my trailer and cargo carrier and when not using it I'm able to put stock car cover over it to hide hitch and plug ins..
Very well made easy install and gives the most ground clearance by it's design no problems what so ever, can not say enough good about Curt all items I have bought have been great love to test and try new items from them .. so far I have been nothing but pleased
The trailer hitch and all its components I just purchased for my 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe XL V6 came just as expected for delivery. The installation guide was easy to follow and I was able to get it installed without any problem. The wire harness was plug n play besides running the power wire to the battery which was not very difficult. Thank you for this amazing product, it’ll be used for years to come.!
Purchased this hitch for my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe. Price was excellent on etrailer.com. Installation took me over an hour. It was the first time I installed a hitch and used a torque wrench. Getting the bolts to the specified torque is what took me the longest due to inexperience and working without a lift. Save money on the installation and do it yourself you will be happy with the end result.
I had been searching for a few years for the right hitch receiver at an affordable price when I stumbled upon the etrailer.com website. The site was easy to use and search for what I wanted and needed. After a couple of months of contemplating in purchasing this product from the sight, I did my due diligence and searched other sites for the correct product fit that met my needs and cost. The other sites couldn't match the price and product availability. In addition, the DIY videos on the etrailer.com site gave me the confidence to complete the install. From installing the hitch receiver to the connection of the 4-pole wiring kit(hint: if you're vehicle has the prewiring for towing, they have the custom kits to match). The install in total took me about 45 minutes (it helps to have the right tools as well) from prep to finish. Now that I have the capability to tow, I'm going to be able to save on the cost of rentals and now I am even looking at getting a family camping trailer, since our Santa Fe model can tow a good size one. Etrailer is the only place that offered the hitch and information that I needed. The install was as easy as they said it would be and the hitch fit perfect. I will forever only use etrailer to get accessories for my car. Wish y'all delt with car parts I'd use y'all exclusively for those too. Awesome company guys!!!! This product fits like a glove! I installed it with no issues on my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe. Just make sure you have a second pair of hands to align the hitch as it is too heavy for one person while attempting to insert the bolts into the holes. I also love the fact that the hitch can be concealed with the factory rear bumper cover. See pics attached.

Very impressed. Fast delivery and easy installation. I purchased the trailer hitch, wiring harness and the two brackets to mount the plug on the hitch and everything fit perfectly. I watched a video or two before starting and all went smoothly.

Not sure that I can say any more than everyone else has. Ordering was a snap, shipping was lightning fast, and installation was a breeze. I installed it on my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited in 22 minutes by myself. The videos were 100% correct and very helpful. On a scale of 1-10, this whole process was easily a 10.
My wife and I just finished installing the Curt trailer hitch on my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe. It's great to have a partner that likes to get involved in fun projects like this. I also used the Curt wiring harrnes that was specified for my car. WOW it was so easy just like all the reviews testified. We are both very pleasd with the product and most of all the CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was a former Wood shop instructor at our local high school. For 37 years I emphasized attitude, respect, responsibilty and customer service. Every staff member that I talked to was polite, respectful and knowledeable. What a refreshing experince. Fast shipping , exact item that was pictured on the website . Thick packaging and hitch was protected and well secured in the box (unlike the hitches I’ve ordered past from other stores). Great product! Very easy to install. I never have enough room for stuff on long trips so I bought ithe hitch and a flat cargo carrier as well. It took 90 minutes to have them both ready to go! If it won"t fit now, we have too much stuff!

This was one of the easiest applications I've ever done! I installed it by myself. Instructions and video were right on point. And the customer service is hands down the best! I ordered the cargo basket. I'll give reviews when i use it. Awesome product awesome place to do business with!

Mounted hitch on daughter vehicle for a bike rack working well
Installation was easy. I’m 73 years old and installed it by myself the hitch is holding up will I use it for towing my 1927 Chevy show car.
The product is awesome but I’m surprised it came in one piece. UPS is a terrible shipping service. The box was all tore up. I don’t understand how a box can take on that much damage and the product still intact.
So easy to install by one person. Excellent product/design.

Very easy to install. Didn't require dropping the exhaust at all. Everything fit perfectly. Very happy.
Looks and works great! The instructions were clear and even pointed out some possible sticking points and what to do about it. I love that the trim piece can be reinstalled and you would never know the receiver was ever installed.

Luckily weve not had to use it YET! Its concealed behind a trim cover most of the year so no one knows we have it. I like that its not sticking out the back all year.
