Product works great. Install medium difficulty for novice. Install video made it doable.

Love it... Very well made and it did not take long to install as I had the tools needed... the fish wire was so easy... Again, Loved it!!! installed so Quick!!!

Went on easy torqued everything down as specified looks great only problem is the hex bolt sticks up to far to put the bumper ball hole cover back on

2015 Dodge Ram Pickup

I ordered this for a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 I recently acquired. Very well made! It came complete with all hardware and instructions. I had no problem following the instructions. It took longer to get ready to install the hitch than it did to install it; just about 15 minutes. I also ordered wiring kit C57186 which was perfect for my application. I'll be towing a Jay Feather hybrid with Tekonsha Prodigy RF wireless brake controller and this worked out perfectly. Thanks to Etrailer for making this so easy!

by:

2015 Dodge Ram Pickup

Went on without a "hitch"!
But seriously,
the hitch went on without a problem. The first one I ordered was welded completely crooked. I was p*ssed! I took pictures and sent them off to customer service. There is no doubt about etrailer's Customer Service Team. They are second to none. My replacement hitch was on its way to me before I even had the crooked one in the mail. The hitch, bolts, nuts and those wires that allow you to pull the bolts and retainer plates through the frame, all quality parts and easily went on. They have instructions and a great video of how to install it on my 2015 Ram 1500. Thank You etrailer for a smooth and pleasant transaction.

But seriously, " />

Ive used it quite a few times. I towed one of my cars to have a new transmission installed, a rented mini excavator twice during the 2017 summer. It is definitely doing its job pulling its weight.

Good fit on the truck and wasn’t hard to install, it comes with everything you need to install as well. The paint is holding up really good no chipping or rusting, definitely would recommend this hitch receiver if it fits for your application.

2005 Dodge Ram Pickup

2005 Dodge 1500 V6. 17ft flat trailer. 10ft Dump trailer. I haul no more then 5,000 to 6,000 pounds.
So far the trailer hitch and the receiver has held up well for hauling my two trailers. It installed rather easily with the fishing wire being the only challenge. The only issues is getting the 3/4" hardware to XXX lb-ft. I broke one socket and I don't have a torque wrench that goes that high. Nor could I find a local truck mechanic who did. SO I tightened the hell out of it and hope for the best.

After a year and towing a boat this hitch is still like new. Not a single problem with it coming loose or showing any sign of wear. Am as happy today as I was the day I installed it.

by:

This hitch is high quality and built to last. I think start to finish it took me 20 minutes to install. I am glad I found this and got it so quickly!

2013 Dodge Ram Pickup

Awesome. . Perfect fit for my 2013 Ram..Easy to install , especially with all the hardware that's included. I had read previous reviews and noticed a 1/2 inch hex key was needed so I purchased that before the hitch arrived that way I was ready to install. From the time I opened box , dropped spare tire, install and tighten the hitch to jacking back up the spare and being tow ready in 30 min. Thanks etrailer for a great product at a great price.. I am a satisfied customer.

2012 Jeep Liberty

I received a quote from a local truck dealer to install this for $220 and stated it would take a "couple of hours!"

I watched the video on-line and decided to order the part. It arrived in a couple of days and I had it installed in 22 mintues! (4 - 6 mins were to lower/raise the spare tire!)

I used the hitch this past weekend to haul my bass boat!

Ordering a reciever hitch for my wife's Jeep Liberty now (Local dealer quote was $550)

NOTE: Make sure you have a 1/2" hex socket for the bumper bolt.

2015 Ram 1500

Shipped fast. Etrailer support was excellent, there was a concern with my order and it didn't ship on time so they refunded my extra payment for 2 day shipping and still shipped it 2 day. Installation was easy, I didn't even drop the spare all the way to get to the bolt holes through the rear cross bar. Fitment with the spare and in hitch in place is tight. The top bolt barely handled the required torque. Installation was a breeze. Can't wait to use it this weekend.

The hitch receiver is working well. No problems. Was a good purchase.

by:

This product is amazing. Extremely well made and comes with everything you need for an easy installation. The video instructions on there web site are spot on and very simple to follow. I could not be happier with this product. Lowering the spare was the most difficult part of the install but that is Dodges fault for making their spare tire system a joke.
I give this product my highest recommendation!
The entire ordering process could not have been easy and faster. Arrived exactly as advertised I was shocked as to how well made it really is. This is a beast of a hitch. This hitch is far superior to the Mopar hitch the dealer will charge you $275.00 for or $338.00 installed. You won’t be disappointed with this hitch.

by:

After reading up on your hitch and it's installation, I was convinced I could do this myself ~ except for not being able to tighten things adequately. [I'm all of 71 yrs young.] Owner of the truck, hubs, Papa Gene at 86 yrs young, has no business groveling on the hard ground on his bad back to do the job ! As he figured [incorrectly] that the spare would have to come off from the undercarriage, he elected to have a more able, [disabled] neighbor do the job. As your instructions indicated, the job took all of 30 minutes, and no, the spare stayed in place. Hubs is ready now, to haul cedar logs to be milled for return so that he may build more furniture!

by:

Great! Easy installation and hauled my first load on it today! Feat product!

It was the best and easiest solution for my need, pulled my horse trailer around like nothing and you do not need to be a handle man or mechanic to do this, very easy steps.

2015 Dodge Ram Pickup

Installed on my 2015 Dodge Ram 1500. I think I spent more time trying to find the 1/2 hex and lowering the spare to give me some room than I did installing the receiver. Ordered on a Sunday, received on Tuesday. Fantastic product, good price, easy installation, I would highly recommend.

by:

The order arrived in great condition and a day early! I highly recommend this company.

2011 Dodge Ram Pickup

Was looking for a receiver to fit my 2011 Ram crew cab, E-Trailer had one for a decent price, with a flush under bumper model. Just as advertised, it fit perfect. Very easy to install.(15-20 mins.) Made a great choice in doing business with E-trailer. Delivery was sooner than expected, and the price was good for me. Thanks E-Trailer

Heavy duty and sturdy. Installed this on my 2019 Ram 1500 Classic Warlock edition.

Came with all the special wires to install the back up mounting plates! So easy to install that it took me about 20 minutes!

Built well, easy to follow instructions and easy installation. I may have spent half an hour.

2019 RAM 1500 Classic

Very fast
service, I had my hitch in just 3 days.

Very easy install, took 15 minutes after dropping the spare tire even with hand tools and laying under it in the driveway.

Looks just as good as OEM, if not better.

I called the supplier (Curt) and they said the Curt Trailer Hitch, # 13333, will fit your 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab Sport with the factory dual mufflers if it does not have the factory installed hitch. Additionally, if your '05 Ram 1500 does not have a factory connector to power your trailer's lights you can add one with the Tail Light Converter Hardwire Kit w/ 4-Pole Connector # 119178KIT.

Yes it will! I can confirm for you that the Curt Trailer Hitch # 13333 WILL fit a 2018 Ram 1500 so long as your truck does not have a factory hitch. I have also added a photo for you showing how this hitch looks when installed on an '18 Ram.
