Each of these mirrors is molded to perfectly match the contours of your factory side mirrors. Simply slide the mirrors over your side-view mirrors and use the custom-formed, felt-covered wedges to hold the mirrors in place. Each wedge wraps around the inside edge of your OEM mirror and can be tightened onto the mirror with an easily accessible hand knob.

2000 Chevrolet Silverado

I have a 2000 Silverado 2500 and the CIPA towing mirrors fit perfectly. I took my time putting them on as suggest by over Product Reviews, and did not have a problem.

by:

I purchased the CTPA Custom Towing Mirrors about a year ago and have been very pleased with them. They installed easily and don't move around while driving at hwy speeds. The reason I didn't give them 5 stars was because when I put them over the stock mirrors the first time it took a lot of pressure to get them to clip onto the mirror and I was concerned about breaking them. They have gone on a little easier each time since then.

by:

the installation of the towing mirrors was quick and easy. They look great and function very well. I can see the cars which are quite close behind my trailer. The quality is excellent and I expect them to last a long time.
Attached are a few pictures of the installed mirrors.
If you want higher resolution images just ask.
Great service from etrailer.com !

My 3rd set (different trucks). Always a good fit. Wish the mirror moved a bit easier tho. Will order again.

by:
2001 Chevrolet Silverado

The mirror extensions are a snug fit and fairly easy to install. I like how they look and they won't shake going down the road. Perfect for my 2001 Silverado.

2003 Chevrolet Suburban

I bought these slide over towing mirrors for my 03 suburban to use when towing my boat. I originally purchased a pair of extended mirrors from a local automotive store however they worked by placing rubber straps around the car mirror. The straps only lasted a season then tore and were no longer usable. My Dad purchased a pair of these slide on mirrors and has owned them for at least 5 years now. They are definitely the way to go.

Thank you for following up. Really love the mirror extenders. They are such a great product. So easy to put on and never have to worry about them falling off, because of the great fit from the one piece construction. No cheap rubber pieces to worry about breaking.

by:
2003 Chevrolet Silverado

These mirrors are a necessity for towing a snowmobile trailer . Once you get them adjusted they work great . Added width of the mirrors helps you see on the side and behind the trailer. They are easy to install and seem to stay very stable on the existing mirrors

Great

The mirrors fit my 2005 Tahoe well, for towing my 2-stall horse trailer. Easy on/off installation compared to the previous stretch band attached mirrors used.

Great mirrors, easy to take onoff

by:
2006 Cadillac Escalade

They slip on great, and they come off great. The thumb screw on the back keeps them secure throughout the travel. Exactly what I wanted, and they work wonderfully. I use these to see around my travel trailer. Fit perfectly on my side mirrors on my large SUV.

Approx. 7000 miles later, they are wonderful. The perfect mirror for a very reasonable cost.

by:
2006 Cadillac Escalade

The mirrors have worked out very nicely. The installation and removal is easy . I use them every time I trailer and they have held up well.

by:

The mirror extensions installed easily and give me the extra visibility I needed with the camper on the back of my truck. A big thumbs-up!

Phill S.

8/28/2017

Ive left the mirror extensions in place on my truck even after I take the camper off for the season. I like the extra visibility they provide. Still think theyre a great product.

by:

The mirrors fit on my 2003 Yukon XL 2500 but were a little tight and I had to get aggressive installing them where they belonged.
Driving with them the mirrors seem to be stable and not bouncing around.
Overall they work as intended, however I will limit the amount of times I remove them because I don't like how much force is required to put them back on in fear that they may break.
I don't know why, but delivery time was over two weeks. The product was advertised as being "in stock" so I don't understand why shipping and delivery took as long as it did.

Michael

Still working good. Mine stay on the vehicle most of the time and they are holding up well.

When hauling my truck camper these mirrors provide much more safety for everyone... Very durable and l highly recommend them.

Still in good shape after a year of use

2012 GMC Yukon

We have used the Cipa custom towing mirrors for a 12,000 mile, six month tour of the US while towing our 25' Airstream trailer. They worked and held up very well. They fit our 2006 GMC Yukon as if custom made. When we returned home, we removed the mirrors and could not find any sign, marks or scratches that they had been mounted. We will use the mirrors again on our next trip. These mirrors were two hundred dollars less than the next closest priced units. We feel we made a great choice!

by:

I still have the driver side but the passenger side broke a couple weeks after purchasing it. It cracked where you screw in the tightener. Seemed to be kind of brittle. Never returned it because doing so would have been more effort and cost than it was worth since I threw away the packaging and return slip.

by:
2007 Chevrolet Silverado

I have these on a 2007 Silverado. They are easy to install once you figure out what the instruction picture (#2) is trying to show you. The mirror itself is smaller than I had hoped for. The passenger side mirror is magnified. Not sure why they did that. I can see if it where curved a bit, but no, it is magnified which makes it very hard to adjust. What you see in the mirror is pretty limited. The driver side is pretty straight forward. Adjusting them takes a bit, especially the passenger side if you are doing it alone. When I'm not using the trailer, these are definitely coming off. Not especially happy with them.

by:
2005 GMC Sierra

After installing about a year ago, I’ve not removed them. Very clear viewing without vibration - what more could you ask of an after market product.

by:
2004 GMC Sierra

Fit great, first day using them, but they seem to work well

by:

Despite being carefully and tightly installed, these both fell off in the first week. Both were destroyed in the fall. Don’t waste your money, just buy real trailering mirrors.

by:
2003 GMC Yukon XL

Got our mirrors yesterday and they were exactly what I wanted. I was impressed with the fast delivery on my order. I would definitely recommend Etrailer to anyone.

5/5/2018

Still loving the mirror extensions.

by:

Pulled my 29' trailer from Fresno thru L.A. to San Diego and back safely using these mirrors! Could not have done it without them since they allow me to see far behind my camper to safely change lanes. They mount easily and are very secure. Thanks etrailer.

by:
2002 Chevrolet Avalanche

Mirrors did exactly what they were supposed to do, clear the blind spots from pulling a wide trailer. Easy to install, just took a little getting used to since you are now looking into 2 side mirrors instead of 1.
I recommend this product

2001 GMC Sierra

I have used Etailer for nearly 10 yrs now. Ever time I place an order it is deliver fast and in great condition. I placed my last order on Monday about noon it shipped out that day & the mirrors arrived on Wednesday, you can't beat that for fast service. I find the descriptions useful and accurate, which is very uncommon with online merchants. The how- to videos set Etrailer above other online and brick & morter trailer equipment provides.
Keep up the great job. I will continue to use Etrailer for my Travel trailer needs. I will continue to recommend Etrailer to my friends.
Oh I almost forgought to comment on the great mirrors. I bought a set of the rubber band clip on mirrors and found them a total waste of money. The CIPA mirror works! No view distortion do to vibration and the field of view super. I will never waste money on any other mirror.
