    Notes:

    • Designed for intermittent use only - continuous running under higher pressures may reduce pump life.
    • Pump should not be used for running a Reverse-Osmosis (RO) Filtration System.

    Self-Priming Water Pump

This motorized pump can be used as a direct replacement for any OEM RV or marine pump and lets you supply a smooth, consistent flow to the fresh water system in your RV, camper, or boat. The diaphragm-style pump has a self-priming design. The sealed, flexible diaphragm creates a vacuum that draws in the water, allowing the pump to self-prime. This design eliminates air pockets in the pipeline - also known as air binding - for a steady, uninterrupted stream of water to your faucet or other fresh water source. It has the ability to prime up to 6' vertically and 30' horizontally. The pump also features an internal check valve that prevents backflow contamination of your clean water supply.

The pump has been thoroughly freeze and thaw tested for up to 5 two-hour cycles, and it was tested with a higher pressure at shutoff than other water pumps.

    Heavy-Duty Motor

The heavy-duty motor operates quietly without any disturbances and features ball bearings that enable it to have a long life. It doesn't have a rotating seal that will burn up, allowing it the ability to run dry without causing any damage.

The motor also has an integrated thermal breaker that interrupts operation when the motor becomes too hot in order to protect it from overheating. When the temperature of the motor drops, the breaker automatically resets.

    Water-Resistant Design

This enclosed, water-resistant pump has sealed switches that keep moisture from getting in. The electrocoating finish withstands the effects of rain, snow, and other elements, preventing rust and ensuring long-lasting durability.

    Installation

This water pump can be bolted down in multiple locations and positions. It can be installed above, below, or at the same level as the water tank, as long as the location is dry and easily accessible for maintenance. Mounting hardware is not included.

Flow Max 12V Strainer and Fittings

Once the pump is bolted down, insert the strainer on the inlet side. This strainer prevents bugs and debris from entering the pump. Then with the included swivel fittings, attach high-pressure hoses to the strainer and the outlet port for a tapered, watertight seal.

Finally, make your wire connections. The black wire is your live (or hotwire), the white wire is your neutral, and the green and yellow wire is your ground. Please note that a 15 amp switch and a 10 amp fuse (not included) are required.

Appreciate that etrailer warranted the first flow max RV pump I ordered: it was a disfunctional pump (leaked). I did have to pay additional $[XX] for return shipping of that original defective pump. However, the replacement 2nd pump they sent is working great (have had it installed a few days now) and is not leaking like the first one did. Their service at etrailer is a 5 star but the Flow Max Pump is only a 4 star for now. If it passes the test of time (atleast 3-5 years) then maybe it will get an additional star? Original pump lasted nearly 20 years before it went belly up.

So far so good, installation went well. Working fine.

    by:

Good price and fits and works as well as the Shur Flo that it replaced

    by:

Always great and easy doing business with etrailer. Products are always what I am looking for and customer service is top notch.

We went away over summer and the water pump worked very well. It is a great purchase and price :)

    Thank you, etrailer!

    Still pumping after a year.

    by:

It was the right product. Instructions suggested use flexible water lines to help eliminate vibration so had to modify the original setup. But it wasn't anything a competent homeowner can't handle. Quieter than the old pump.

    by:

This water pump has worked well. It is much quieter than my old one, self pimes quickly and has run dry a few times with no harm done to it.

    by:

I love the customer service and follow up I get from this company.

    by:

We purchased as a replacement for our obselete leaking pump and have not had any issues with it.

    by:

I was not expecting it to be as noisy as it is!!!

    by:

I believe this is an excellent replacement pump for our RV. To be honest, it came in the mail just today, so it is not yet installed, but everything I've read about this pump it should be just what we need.

    Working as expected

    by:

Good product , beater pressure, quieter!

    by:

We've had this water pump for a year now. It was easy to install in my Thor motorhome & it works great.

    by:

It’s working like it should. we live in are trailer for 3 months a year. It get a lot of use.

    by:

The Flow-Max was a shoe in for the old Shurflo pump which failed after eight years. I was very happy with that and it arrived in a nick of time. It also is much quieter the the Shurflo.

    by:

Couldn't have been easier to swap out this new water pump for the old one in my 1996 Jamboree Sport without a hitch. Superior pumping performance than the old burnt out Sure flo 2088-403-144 that it replaced. I chose this pump because the 45psi pressure matched my old one and is what my system was designed to operate at most efficiently by it's engineers. The flow rate of this pump is slightly higher but seems the same in actual use. It draws slightly less amperage which is always nice as the battery lasts a little longer. This unit is almost silent in comparison to the old pump yet it keeps the system pumped up better. It doesn't even run constantly when I wash my hands like the old one did. It bolted right up and connected to the old hardware although I actually cut off the old brass 90º screw on connecters and installed a new pex 90º connecters because the 24 year old brass fittings were so corroded and the seal so dried out and compressed that I didn't want to take chances on it leaking and wanted the best, most reliable install possible. I am extremely satisfied and very happy with the initial functionality and quality of this water pump and would recommend it to anybody with a 45psi motorhome water system. I am now ready for many more years of happy camping.

one year later and the water pump is working as good as the day I put it in. I am very happy with this quality product.

Perfect replacement - easy to install. Works great

    by:

Works well, but the power draw will dim your lights or lessen voltage on other circuits on the converter while running. Water flow is great and is relatively quiet compared to other pumps.

    by:

    1 year still going strong

    by:

We don’t use our water pump often but this unit is definitely more quiet than the original. Installation was straight forward and pump has worked well each time we’ve needed it.
Original unit lasted 14 years which is amazing so if this one lasts half as long I’ll be happy.

    by:

As with other products I have ordered from etrailer, the pump was an exact fit and included everything I needed to replace the old pump. It's been working just fine. As usual, I am very happy with the service from etrailer. It's my go-to place for RV parts.

    by:

I bought this to replace our 17 year old OEM Shurflo in our small pop-up camper. This little pump was an easy installation, and after a season of use is still unbelievably quiet in operation compared to the Shurflo. It works great.

    by:

Hi, the delivery was a little slow, but I did finally receive the pump. I have not had time to install yet.

    by:

Just what we needed. Got here quickly. Installed and working.

When you checked the fuse did you test it with a multimeter # PT89ZR to see if power was actually passing through to the water pump or did you just look at the fuse to see if it was blown? It's also not uncommon for there to be an in-line fuse at the pump and another at the dc distribution board if it's not ran directly to the battery. • Is Modification Needed To Swap From An 8 Amp To 10 Amp Draw RV Water Pump
No, there really shouldn't be any changes that you'll have to make switching from an 8 amp draw ShurFlo to the 10 amp draw HydroMax RV Fresh Water Pump # P25201. I would just check the fuse rating to ensure it's rated for 10 amps. Your pump is either ran to the battery directly with an inline fuse holder # C58470-1 or ran to the DC distribution panel with a fuse in the panel. Other than that you'll be good to go swapping them out.
