This regulator was a direct replacement for one that started to leak. Worked flawlessly last season. Haven’t used it yet this season.

by:

Bought this to replace a bad (leaking) LP regulator on my 5th wheel RV. The physical size was smaller than my original one, but the fitting size and specs were the same. This one has been installed a year now and still working great. Highly recommend and would by this again.

Still working great.

by:

This is what we needed to be replaced for our 2016 5th Wheel Cyclone Toy Hauler a new propane regulator. Installed and ready to go camping. My husband checks everything before we hit the road for our first camping weekend and I noticed the sound of the propane regulator was leaking.

Product is exactly as expected. A direct replacement for a leaking GR-630. Easy install.

Direct replacement part that functions as intended. No issues with installation or performance.

by:

Much smaller than I expected but seems to be working well. Had my 5th wheel in the shop for another matter and had them install it since it was already there. No issues with install,it's pretty straightforward install.

by:

I have installed it it seems that it is exactly as described. I will be using it this weekend for a mountain camping trip on my trailer. Hopefully it will work properly and everything will be okay. Will keep you posted.

by:

by:

Fantastic service from Bailey when I called to verify I could get the regulator ASAP. Simple install. Thanks etrailer!

by:

by:

Part was delivered quickly and a perfect fit works great and does what it’s supposed to do. E trailer is made it easy to order. Gave great description of parts.

by:

Bought this as a spare to have if I have a problem with my existing regulator which is the third one I have had. I hope I never have to use it.

by:

Wasn't sure I had the right thing but after watching your video I knew it would work.

by:

Product installed easy worked just fine. Good value. If you have a older unit similar model this one may be smaller in size but is the right regulator. Used this to fix my 5th wheel that the regulator failed on. Very well priced. Thanks

George

No issues after 1 year. I will order from etrailer again.

by:

Did not fit, I never used it!

by:

Regulator was a direct replacement for one that developed a ruptured diaphragm on our 5th Wheel. As always, helpful service, in stock parts, and lightning fast shipping. Great company to deal with!

by:

The product is just what I needed. It was fairly priced compared to other suppliers. My only concern is the freight cost to have it delivered

by:

I just received this part and have yet to install as rv is in winter storage until April. I'm sure it will work fine. This regulator is much smaller than original but built to deliver same results. This is second time replacing. Process of elimination. Once again no use of propane from full tank on opposite side. Purchased new hose (11ft) and this regulator. Smelled propane. Immediately searched etrailer for replacement parts. Will update late once install is completed

by:

This is my second purchase from ETRAILER.com
My
first purchase was a fifth wheel adapter for my F-450 that I new nothing about, I sent one email asking for help and got immediate response and was told exactly what I needed. This time I ordered a part under $20 and received an email on Sunday night from a staff me letting me know that he received my order and was able to ship it a day early. Great service, fast shipping and they have videos of almost any product they sell. I will always continue business with ETRAILER

by:

Operates as advertised. Use it for my RV propane tank.
Would buy it again.

by:

Original regulator started leaking, found this here on etrailer and received it very quickly, easy install job and no more leak, back to being a happy camper.

by:

Very good product, came fast and I will buy from etrailer again

  • Recommended Propane Regulator For An Empire Tahoe Propane Fireplace
You'll want to use a 2-stage regulator and will have two options depending on how you run your line to the tank. If you have a vertical run you'll want to use the MB Sturgis Vertical 2-Stage Propane Regulator # 108220, and if you have a horizontal run you'll want to use the MB Sturgis Horizontal 2-Stage Propane Regulator # 108221. The important thing here is just to install these correctly to have their vents facing down. We don't currently offer an adapter to match up the inlets/outlets...

  • 2 Stage Regulator Replacement With Single Stage Regulator
A fix to this would be to use a MB Sturgis Single Stage Propane Regulator # 108072 in lieu of your current regulator as long as long as the new regulator meets the specifications that are required to run your propane appliance. Check your current regulator to make sure you can do the swap. You may need to buy an adapter like # CAM59953 to use your current pigtails. A replacement bracket like U-Post RV LP Gas Regulator Bracket # 37207-30405 would work for you as well.

  • What Is A Flare Propane Fitting
Flare fittings have a slightly different shape than a standard fitting. There's both flare and inverted flare fittings so it's important that choose the correct fitting to ensure that it'll work with whatever you're connecting it to and won't leak. The MB Sturgis Single Stage Propane Regulator # 108072 you were looking at requires 1/4" male NPT (national pipe thread) fittings so you wouldn't need a flare fitting to connect to it.

Thank you for the photo and information, and we do have a recommended replacement for your Precimax 7000 regulator. So to replace your regulator what you will need is one from MB Sturgis: - MB Sturgis Single Stage Propane Regulator # 108072 This is a high-pressure regulator with the same 1/4" female NPT fittings as your Precimax 7000, and I verified...

  • Fitting to Allow Your Grill with Type-1 Connector to Connect to Standard 1 Pound Cylinder.
Thanks for the picture of what you need. I see your grill came with a special regulator that has an inlet for a 1-pound propane bottle and a quick connector on the other side. This unit is not something that we sell. The closest thing we have to that is a MB Sturgis # 108072 Single-Stage Propane regulator with one inlet and one outlet which are both 1/4" Female NPT. • Determining The Correct BTU Rated RV Propane Regulator For Your RV
All of the RV regulators we carry are going to work down the output pressure to 11" water column. That pressure will always stay the same but the amount of BTU's you can spread between the appliances can vary depending on the regulator. For a dual stage automatic changeover propane regulator we have two options; the JR Products # 37207-30395 (345,000 BTU) and # 37207-31525 (262,500 BTU). • PSI Rating For The MB Sturgis Single Stage Propane Regulator
I went out to the warehouse to confirm the PSI rating and the MB Sturgis # 108072 is in fact 30 PSI. A lot of the time manufacturers change something about their product and do not update the dealers with the new info. The product photos will be updated to represent the new PSI rating. If you look at the customer photos on the product page you can see this regulator with the 30 PSI stamp on it.

I have an option for you but the Mr. Heater Model F273719 regulator will not be a replacement for the Marshall Model 250 regulator. From my research, I found the Marshall 250 is an automatic change-over two-stage regulator. The Mr. Heater Model F273719 is not an automatic change-over two-stage regulator, it is made for 1 tank while the Marshall 250 is made to use 2 tanks. It depends on the connections you have to make, there isn't a universal tank to stove connection. • Can Blue Thread Locker Be Used On Propane Fittings
Blue thread sealer can be used but you run the risk of it clogging the line if it spreads out from the threads to the tip of the fitting. It's safer to just use thread sealant tape like # 37207-30025 to avoid any clog issues. You would not want to use thread sealant on flared fittings since they'll have a gasket to prevent leaks.

  • Recommended 11-14 Water Column (WC) Rated Propane Regulator for a Generator
The water column (WC) rating of the Single Stage Propane Regulator part # 108072 would be far too high for your generator. Instead, you are going to want to use a two-stage regulator like the MB Sturgis Vertical 2-Stage Propane Regulator part # 108220 which will supply between 11-12.5 inches of water column. The two stage regulator would also supply more BTU's for your generator in comparison to a single stage.

  • Gas Not Switching to Secondary Tank After Regulator Replacement
A 2-stage propane regulator like part # 108220 is not designed to switch over the gas from one tank to another. In order to switch the flow of gas from one tank to another you would need to use an auto changeover regulator like part # CAM59005. A 2-stage and auto changeover regulator may both look the same but are very different in function. This is likely why the gas is not switching for the empty tank and not a failed secondary regulator like part # 108072.

Yes. You can use regulator # 108072 since it is a high pressure regulator. There should be a second regulator, probably on the opposite side of the trailer, that takes the pressure down further to an 11" water column for use with the accessories that run off of propane.

Yes, you will want to use some sort of thread sealer like part # LT37482 or pipe tape like part # A05-0265 on the NPT fittings inside of the MB Sturgis Single Stage Propane Regulator part # 108072.
