Installation
This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located inside your rear cargo area, behind the tail lights on both the driver's side and passenger's side. You will have to remove the rear threshold, cargo cover, and some interior paneling to access this harness. Once you've plugged in the T-connector, run the hot lead up to your car battery. Connect the lead to the included fuse holder, and then connect the fuse holder to the positive terminal on your battery and insert the provided fuse.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed in your rear cargo area.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.
ModuLite Powered Tail Light Converter
A ModuLite power module is built into this T-One connector. Because your vehicle runs on a multiplex wiring system, the wiring needs to be converted to be compatible with the wiring system of your trailer. This power module functions as a tail light converter to combine the brake and turn signal functions of your automobile so that they run on one wire to properly activate your trailer's tail lights. Note: This will not affect how the tail lights on your vehicle operate.
With a ModuLite, your trailer's lights will be powered without overloading your vehicle's electrical system. Because the module draws power directly from your car's battery and bypasses the electrical routes that are used by a basic wiring harness, there is virtually no draw on your tail light circuits.

Installation was straightforward. The connectors were very easy to install as it was a plug-and-play system. The directions were mainly easy to follow. However, the installation was easy enough that I did not need them. It works great for towing my motorcycle trailer and is affordable compared to UHAUL installations.

I have used e-trailer hitches and parts in the past. It has been many years ago. But I knew I could trust these parts and their durability and quality and appearance. After placing my order I received the items within 2 days. You cannot beat such wonderful shipping service. The directions that came with the hitch and the wiring harness for my Chevy spark were so detailed and easy even for an old 74-year-old dummy like me to follow. Lol. Also available was a couple of videos online with YouTube on installing the hitch on a Chevy spark. Such wonderful service and quality parts. I installed the hitch and wiring harness today. Although it did take me a good bit longer than what the perspective time was in the directions. Lol. That is just me. A great company to work with. Thank you so much e-trailer. I am a senior on a very tight fixed income and I have survived lung cancer and another cancer also. I only have one long left and cannot afford a larger vehicle and a travel trailer. So I have put the trailer hitch on my small Chevy spark and I am buying a minimate compact camper to pull with it. I have decided to travel some across this country while I am still able. Being that money is tight I can camp in this out west on BLM land for free. Now I can hardly wait to pick up my tiny little motorcycle camper. E-trailer you made things very easy for me and made this old man very happy. Thank you again.

2017 Chevrolet Spark
Easy installation and arrived before estimated shipping date. The only problem I had was getting the trailer running lights to function. Brake and turn signal lights worked fine but had to run a separate wire from car running light to make trailer running lights function.

2010 Chevrolet Spark
Not enough wire! Even for a Chevy Spark. Unusual for etrailer, this kit came without all the parts needed. There's enough 4 pin connector harness to reach to the back of the driver's seat (not to mention through the fire wall, engine compartment and the length of the tow bar). I had to buy extra wire and another 4 pin connector.
Also, the wire color choices in the instructions (connectors to the tail lights) didn't quite match the connectors themselves. Gave me pause for about 10 min. during install.
