The Pro Series system combines everything you need in a set of transom straps - strength, security and safety. These heavy-duty straps secure your boat's stern to your trailer and make the trailer more visible at night. 1,200 lbs Max load.

Features:

  • Heavy-duty tie-down straps firmly secure your boat's transom (stern) to your trailer
  • SUR-Grip rubber-coated Kwik-Lok buckle is easy to grip and control with one hand
  • Seat-belt-quality polyester webbing
  • Hi-Vis protective PVC pads under the buckle and vinyl-coated steel top S-hooks protect your boat's paint finish
  • Zinc-coated hook attaches to trailer and withstands the elements
  • Night Eyes closure patch on buckle reflects light, adding to your safety at night

Specs:

  • Strap dimensions: 2" wide x 4' long
  • Maximum load strength (break strength): 1,200 lbs
  • Safe working load limit (WLL): 400 lbs
  • Quantity: 2 transom straps
  • 1-Year limited warranty

Load your boat onto your trailer, open the buckle, connect the bottom S-hook of the Pro Series strap to the back end of your trailer's frame, then connect the vinyl-coated top S-hook to the loop on the stern of the boat. Pull the end of the strap through its buckle and turn the buckle down to tighten the strap.

Note: Transom tie-downs should always be used along with a winch strap and a set of gunwale tie-downs. All straps and cables should be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). To determine the maximum load, or break strength, of the strap, simply multiply the WLL by 3. The WLL is always one-third (1/3) of the maximum load.

Much nicer than the ratchet straps I had. Easy to take on and off. Seem to be very secure.

by:

These are the best tie-downs I've ever used very easy to use. Easy to adjust, easy to explain to my brother. How they work Thank you very much, very satisfied.

by:

I needed a pair with a short distance between the buckle and the vinyl coated loop. These were perfect. The yellow rubber pad to protect the boat neatly nestles the buckle and the velcro cover secures the buckle. They don't seem overly robust but not much stress on them to hold a boat down on bunks is needed. I suspect they will be well worth the money.

by:

Quick delivery. Product is as expected.

by:

fit great.

Very easy to use. Look great. Like the protector for the boat

First off, etrailer rocks. Anything I order from them arrives so fast it's scary.
I just put these on my boat and I really like the way they work and the ease of use. Also, the rubber backing is nice to keep the buckle from scratching up the boat. The only negative I could find with these is the rivets that form the hinge on them seems a bit wimpy. They are a bit overly long and small in diameter for the holes they are in, so they seem to flop around a bit and are at an angle when the buckles are locked. I could see myself replacing these with small nuts and bolts in the future. Otherwise, these things are absolutely perfect boat straps.

I guess its been a year and my straps are still going strong. I thought that the rivets that form the hinge might break, but so far they are fine. I dont crank them down as tight as i know I could, but I get them plenty tight to hold the boat to the trailer.

by:

The straps work well and are easy to use. I had started using them with motorcycle loops wrapped around the frame, but that was awkward and then the loops got lost. Now I hook the tie downs directly to a hole in one of the support brackets and they're easier than ever. The lever action makes them nice and tight.

Still like them. Review still stands. Still like them. Review still stands. Still like them. Review still stands

Some rust on the buckle but generally holding up pretty well

by:

This is a good quality product and Etrailer shipped it very quickly with a fantastic tracking system.
I especially liked the rubber backer that protects the boat. I have used this same product in the past and this newest set looks as if the company has made some nice improvements.
The only thing I'd like to see on the product in the future is a Made In The USA tag.

Straps are still holding and look greT

by:

Replaced my not-so-old tie downs with these etrailer.com ones and couldn't be happier. They are easy to attach and the lever buckle is much easier on my hands. Once tight, they do not slip!

Great pair of straps. Hard use from them the past year and no wear shown.

by:

These are the nicest, most heavy duty, easiest to use transom tiedowns ever! I would never purchase any other kind! You will never be sorry if you buy these!

Excellent! Could not be happier with a product!

These are the best tie down straps. First available in multiple lengths to fit either the boat trailer or jet ski trailer. Protective covers to prevent metal against the hull. Tight and secure. Any excess strap held well in place by Velcro. Recommended.

by:

I had the same straps that lasted me five yrs. They frayed near clamps from friction to the piont of breaking.Ordered them agian and planning to be bit carefull that strap does not run to close to the metal edges when clamping.I like these because on my boat trailer the transom hook plate is easy to hookup straps standing up, then hook to boat transom eye hook adjust and clamp. The ratchet stile are nice but they require you to bend down to ratchet .Good for the young guys.I like to keep things simple,my old ones never loosend while trailerilng. So for the price i will use these again. Will keep the old ones for back ups.

by:

The selectin and ordering process was a breeze, the items were described clearly. My order (included various items) was shipped and received very quickly. The Transom tie down straps fit on my pontoon boat just as I hoped, the upper hook was coated to prevent scratching, the straps and buckle assembly seem to be very secure.

by:

I got these for a 12 ft. 1975 Jon Boat. The Transom of these boats are so light, that it shifts left or right from bumps or wind currents. I saw these somewhere , and priced them. eTrailer beat the rest out there on costs, shipping and reliability. I would put these on a 2000 lb. Boat and not worry . Much easier to use and clamp and adjust than the other straps/ pulls out there. WORTH their weight in GOLD.

by:

The product is great. Unfortunately, I can only hook up one side of the boat with the tie down strap, as I have a dive platform on the rear port side of my boat. My fault for not thinking of that. I am afraid that if I run the strap over the platform, it may either damage the platform or the boat if I were to hit a hard bump in the road. So, I put the second strap to good use using it to hold down the bow more securely that a strap I had been using.

by:

So far, so amazing. These buckles are legit. I have a light star craft super sport bow rider and these buckles hold the boat to the trailer tighter than a steel bolt to a sky scraper beam. Best purchase I’ve made in a while

by:

I have looked at and used several different tie downs. These are of much better quality than our local boat dealer who charges almost double for his product (sold singularly for almost what I paid for the set.) I highly recommend etrailer for purchases and have used them several times. Fast shipping, fast knowledgeable response to questions, and always courteous. I like to shop where my business seems to be appreciated.

My BoaBuckle transom tie down straps work great. After a year of frequent use they work like new. I just retuned from a 700 mile trip where they worked flawlessly !

by:

I really liked how they sent the parts out I needed on a Sunday. Then the tracking was just terrific. I could see exactly were my things were each day. They told me how many days to expect them, when I got hom they were in my mail box. What a great job and a great product. I will take my boat this weekend and I will use the straps to secure the boat to the trailer. My old straps were damaged by letting them drag the ground.

by:

Rec'd my boat buckles today (one day earlier than expected) !!
Very good quality straps with very distinct snap when locked in place. hooks on the boat end have a good covering . I should have these straps for many fishing seasons!

by:

After much looking around for new transom straps I found these. They are so easy to use other then the old ones I used to have fumbling around with the buckle after boating. I despised that after every boating trip and happy the old ones broke. These new ones are the quickest and simplest ones I have used. Love them and makes my boating experience happy once again. You can't go wrong one these straps.

by:

I had the boat for 31 years. Went through a lot of tie downs before these. Wish I would have bought these 31 years ago!

The BoatBuckle Pro Series Tie-Down Straps, part # IMF17631, have a maximum tie-down length of 24 inches. The straps can be tightened down to a length less than 24 inches. These straps have a maximum tie-down length of 48 inches and can be tightened down to 22 inches, but will leave you with...

I spoke with my contact at BoatBuckle and they told me that the metal components on the BoatBuckle Pro Series Kwik-Lok Transom Tie-Down Straps, part # IMF17632, are made of steel but they are not stainless. They told me the hook that attaches to the trailer on this system is zinc-coated for corrosion resistance, and the S-hooks are vinyl-coated to protect your boat finish. We do offer straps that use stainless steel. Part # IMF14256, uses a stainless steel body that resists rust and...
