Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today I'm gonna take a look at this rubber lube plug for the E-Z Lube and etrailer Easy Grease Caps. Now this rubber plug is used in the grease cap that are designed to be used on the E-Z Lube or the etrailer Easy Grease Axles. Basically, this plug will fit into the opening on that grease cap and it prevents any dirt or moisture from entering the hubs of your E-Z Lube Axle. It'll also make it easily removable since it's rubber. Allows you to gain access to that grease Zerk fitting that's on the spindle of the axle.
And this rubber plug is designed to fit into a whole size on the caps that is 1.18 inches in diameter. Just to demonstrate, I happened to pull one of those grease caps, you can see that, it has the opening on it. So this'll go on the end of your hub and the opening allows you to access that Zerk fitting to put your grease in. So once you do that, pump your grease in there, remove your grease gun and then take your plug and just pop it right back in there, just like that, and you're all ready to go. It seals it, keeps out any dirt or moisture.
And then when you're ready to grease your bearings again instead of having to take the whole hub off, all you have to do is pop out this rubber plug. Very easy to pull right out and that gains access, hook your grease gun up, you're ready to go. But that should do it for the review on this rubber lube plug for the E-Z Lube and etrailer Easy Grease caps.

Fit Perfectly!
Bought these caps as spares,low price and cheap insurance. They do wear out over time as the covers have a sharp lip. Ez lube spindles are handier than hip pockets.

Spares are still in the box.the couple of bucks are long forgotten,but the assurance I have immediate replacements has not.great product.

Product appears well designed and made. It fit my wheel hubs perfectly on my trailer. Exactly what I was looking for.
Only issue I had with the ordering experience was the lack of tracking data available after the item was shipped. There was never any delivery date given or means to track the shipment progress. Other than that, the items were received in 1 week in good condition.
I will definitely order from etrailer again.
This part was exactly what I needed. I had gone to three different parts houses where I live and no one could help me...they wanted to sell me completely different bearing buddy sets. This rubber cap seals the grease zerk on each wheel bearing of my RV. It keeps water and dirt from contamination of the wheel bearings.
They are economically priced and were quickly delivered!
Originals dry rotted after a while like most rubber products over time. Replacements were exactly what I needed and extremely inexpensive. Fit perfect and worked like a charm on my BigTex 14GP gooseneck trailer.
I live in the desert and rubber products dry out fast so having a few spares is always a good idea.

Still works as expected
Like others I could not find this product locally, so I went to the internet. Although it was a very inexpensive material, etrailer.com allowed the order to be placed for less than $5 AWESOME!! Other companies would not process the small value order.

It's good to have etrailer.com selling these types of replacement items because my local trailer stores don't carry them. The difficulty with this part is finding it without knowing the part number. I had to call in to the help desk and describe it in order for them to locate it and order it.
This is a great product. This part keeps the water out of your wheel bearings great product will always buy my trailer parts from etrailer.
We rely heavily on our trailer to get us to and from quality boating sites etrailer has been extremely helpful keeping us supplied with parts delivered to your door ver nice!
These work just as well as the Dexter caps and for a whole lot less! etrailer.com had my package at in my mailbox within two days.
The rubber caps worked out great. Correct size and fit.
