Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at this Reese Towpower TransRACK Conduit Case Kit. This kit is going to let you create a conduit carrier for your ladder rack, so you can securely carry your loose rods, pipes, conduit, and even fully assembled fly rods. Now, a six inch in diameter PVC Pipe Schedule 40 or 80 is required and you can just customize the length of your pipe to meet your own needs. But, this is a universal design that's going to work with all truck racks. And the good news is this is a no-drill installation.
The four included U bolts are just going to simply attach this conduit case to your truck rack crossbars. And the four U bolts offer more stability than similar kits that just come with two U bolts, so you can be confident of the stability that this is going to offer. And the U bolts and the hardware are all constructed of stainless steel, so that means that they are going to resist rust and corrosion. The four steel plates here have bolt holes that measure, and I did measure these earlier before our time together. Center to center, they're going to measure four inches apart.
Now, the cast aluminum door is built into one of the two included end caps and it has a latching mechanism that is spring loaded. And then, as you can see here, I'm gonna flip this on the side here so you can get a view of that. This has a rubber gasket that's going to create a water resistance seal when the door is latched. So to me, this feels like it's very high quality. It doesn't feel like it's going to easily bend, or warp, or anything like that.
This aluminum, in particular, feels very durable, very sturdy. And as you can see, you do have a place here to run a lockthrough there if you so desire. So you are gonna get all of the hardware that you need minus the six inch in diameter PVC pipe to put this together. Our neighbors who have ordered this kit previously seem to be very satisfied with it and what it has to offer, and the installation is overall gonna be very simple and easy as well. I do wanna point out that instructions are included to walk you through the easy installation process, and that's gonna conclude our brief look today.

I received this product very quickly and in perfect new condition. I am not a contractor. I used this product to hold fully assembled fly rods on the top of my car. I used a 6 inch by 10 foot PVC with these caps on the end. Mounted on my roof cross bars I was able to store and access my fly rods without having to take them apart keeping them ready to use.

Well made, all inclusive kit with hardware. Just pick up the pvc tube, cut and assemble... I use it to protect fishing rods, when traveling.
I put them on 6" PVC and made rod holders for my truck. They are awesome and would do it again.
