Today we're going to be taking a look at the replacement electric jack switch with harness for Lippert components high speed stabilizer jacks. This is going to replace the extend retract switch for your Lippert electric stabilizer jack, part number LC363284. It's going to feature a rating of IP66, which makes it a nice weather resistant unit. It's got a sealed design on the back side, so it's going to do a great job at protecting the internal components from dirt, dust, grim and moisture. The unit is black in color. On the back side it also has a foam gasket.

That's going to help create a tight seal at the mounting surface. You can see that it has all the wires coming out of it, so you can easily get it connected to control the jack. Few measurements to go over with you. Measuring this direction edge to edge it's going to measure 2 and 1/4. Going this direction edge to edge it's going to measure about 3 and 1/4 to 3 and 5/16 of an inch. You'll notice it has all the pre-drilled mount holes on it.

Mounting hardware not included. The unit's very easy to control and operate. It's got the textured surface right there on the push area. It makes the switch very easy to control and operate. With this part number you're going to get one switch with the wiring.

That's going to do it for today's look at the replacement electric jack switch with harness for Lippert components high speed stabilizer jacks.

I was impressed that your business had the excact part that came on our RV, This was my first time shopping your website and see you have a fantastic inventory of parts for my travel trailer. Will be shopping with you again.

by:

It was really easy to order and receive these switches! These replacement switches are far better than the ones the dealership wanted to install. They are also better than the ones my unit came with. The switches have this hood on them on the front side that help to protect them from the weather. They are also sealed on the back side. I just replaced one wire at a time and used the wire nuts I had on hand. They work beautifully.

Still completely satisfied!

Ordered a pair of stabilizer switches (needed one, but replacing both was a better option). Parts were not immediately in stock, but that was not a problem. Within a couple of days, the parts were shipped and everything now works as it should.

Still good... Works like new.

This switch was a direct replacement for the rear stabilizers on my 2016 Keystone Sprinter 5th wheel camper. The only difference between the original and this is the rain/shield of the rocker switch. Shipping was super quick and came in great shape. No instructions needed same wire colors, just hook up the same way you remove the faulty factory one.

Working just fine would recommend this product

Switch is a perfect fit replacement for the landing gear control on my Jayco HT fifth wheel. The stock switches both broke within three years of buying it brand new. This switch is the exact same wiring and operation as the stock switch but feels more sturdy. We will see how long it lasts! Great customer service and quickly shipped.

Great!

Excellent product as a replacment stabilizer jack control.

Original switch had terminals exposed to water and salt thrown up by tires.

This is a potted weather resistant face and waterproof rear panel.

Simple to splice wiring harness.

Installed 1 year ago.

One year later and 40 or 50 uses later, these switches continue to perform well! The true test is how they tolerate the locked rotor current if the operator holds the button at end of travel causing 5x the current draw of normal motor operation. I always observe and allow the jacks to coast near the end, then tap until seated.

by:

Received the new switches in the promised time window quoted. The switches appear to be better constructed than the old switch. The old switch failed when the blue wire came loose from the plug terminal which. This plug connected to the rear of the switch. I see the new switch has the terminal plug and switch as one assembly and the wires appear to be hot epoxy sealed. The rain shield appears to be a good idea as well.

Very good no further problem

Got this switch for our brand new travel trailer one year ago. The switch stopped working unexpectedly and our jacks on our camper wouldn't retract or extend. etrailer.com had the best price after I shopped around, had very quick shipping and installation wasn't difficult (step by step instructions provided on website and online). Thanks very much to etrailer.com for saving our camping season! My Husband was very happy with the purchase. To be honest it was so well priced and easy to install with the instructions etrailer.com supplied, we didn't drop the camper off at the shop to have it fixed (under full warranty) ... like I said they saved our
camping season!
I will buy anything else like this in the future from etrailer.com! Excellent Purchase!

Switch has worked flawlessly . Excellent replacement would recommend

by:

The electric jack switches I purchased work perfectly. I replaced both original switches even though only 1 was defective (an ounce of prevention... etc.). The only problem that I encountered was that the original switch was round (where it fits into the side of the trailer) and this replacement was rectangular. I used a fine tooth saw (fiberglass siding) to carefully cut out a rectangular shape to fit the switch and then filed it smooth. I used a pure silicon sealant to make sure that there would be no water leaking in. The electrical connections were very easy to figure out and to complete. Give this one a 5 STAR rating.

by:

Switch for lippert jacks . Replacement part seems to be an upgrade from the original with a rain shield over the top of switch . Front jack switch failed and I ordered the replacement from etrailer . By the time I had received that replacement switch and installed it the rear jack switch went out . So etrailer got another order from me . Both factory switches failed after about 1year of service on a new camper . etrailer has good customer service and prompt shipping when the parts are in stock . I have no complaints and will use them again . In fact I just did to order the second switch!

by:

This part was just what was needed. It only took about 20 minutes to replace. Since this switch is located directly behind the trailer tires on the bottom side of the trailer it is susceptible to getting hit by rocks and water splash. I fabricated a small guard out of thin aluminum that will help to protect the rear portion of the switch where the wires go into the back of the unit. Hopefully this will help extend its life. The original switch only lasted about three years.

by:

I bought this switch to replace a failed stabilizer switch on my camper. This switch has wire leads coming out the back that you can put spade connectors in order to connect to the existing trailer switch wiring. I always keep these kinds of electrical goodies in my tool box so installation was a breeze. Very happy and the switch is working great.

by:

The only thing bad about the whole thing there was no wiring diagram. My jacks are Bal and they wire different, so a diagram would be nice. The switch works fine.

The switch works like it should. Very satisfied

by:

Installation was relatively painless (except for the hot sun shining on me that the shade canopy didn't cover!). I was replacing an original switch that was not sealed and eventually the elements killed it. It pretty much came apart in my hand when I removed it. This new unit is well sealed. I had to cut out a slightly larger hole to fit the new switch; otherwise the four screw holes lined up perfectly with the original.

The wiring was simple enough, except that Murphy dictated that I would have only 3 male connectors of the right size in my work shop, but some serious scrounging turned up another, sparing a trip to the store. I had a pretty good guess how the wires should connect, but going with the old saying, 'when all else fails, read the manual' I took a look at the wiring diagram provided here before starting. It worked.

The original switch was white/tan and the new one is black, but the original screws had white heads, so for aesthetics, I will need to replace them with black screws, or hit them with a dab of paint when I am motivated to do so....

by:

Had to make a MINOR adjustment to my trailer (Rockwood Ultralite) (existing opening a tad too small) but all in all an easy install. Switches seem solid and well built. Screw holes lined up perfectly.

Still going strong!

by:

Great replacement switch for the Keystone RV stock they put on their units. If your RV has one without the rain hood, water will get in the electronics and shut down your motor stabilizers. These have the rain hood over the switch and is a much better design.

by:

This was a exact replacement for my malfunctioning factory switch. Installation was simple, no special tools needed, just attach the wires to the new switch as on the old one. Well pleased with this product, has a small cover over the rocker part of the switch, should help keep rain out.

by:

Ordered this switch to fix my stabilizers on my 2015 Hemisphere. etrailer was the only reasonable place. Everyone else was way out of line on shipping and couldn't guarantee that it wad the correct part. etrailer could and did. Since the first one worked perfectly, I ordered a backup for when the other one goes out. GREAT pricing, shipping and constant communications to keep me up on the order status. I now recommend etrailer to all my camping pals. This was my third order. I will shop no where else now.

by:

Replacement jack switch . Good shipping and handling from etrailer . Replacement was a snap . Second switch I have replaced on my camper . This seems to be an upgrade from oem switches . Both factory installed switches failed within a year of purchase of camper . This seems to be a better switch . Thanks to etrailer for prompt and courteous service .

by:

I see the product has been improved from the last three i have replaced, these switches were not exterior friendly, it appears the have been modified slightly to prevent water from entering the internal parts of the switch.I gave a five star review due to the availability of having it and the prompt delivery at these tough times. Thank you E-Trailer. I am looking forward to continuing doing business with you.

by:

These new switches are a great improvement over the older switches, by encapsulating and sealing the wire leads this will help to prevent failure such as I experienced with the older style switches from harness flexing.

by:

Purchased this switch to replace the original on my travel trailer, even though it is manufactured by lippert just like the original, this switch has a built in hood around it that prevents water from getting in. This is a much better design, and should hold up much better.
Installation was a breeze, four screws and four wires, removed and replaced in a half hour.

by:

Perfect replacement switch for the Lippert stabilizer jacks on my Keystone Sprinter. Mounting screw holes lined up too! Best price I could find was etrailer. Very quick delivery.

by:

Product arrived and was just what I needed. However there was no paper work of any kind included, such as warranty info or wiring diagram.
Also the 7-9 day shipping was closer to 3-4 weeks but I understand stuff happens.
so far so good

  • Troubleshooting Lippert PSX1 Electric Stabilizer Not Working On Keystone Springdale Travel Trailer
First you will want to use a Test Light # PTW2993 to verify if you are getting power to the switch on your stabilizer. There will be 4 wires to the Switch # LC387874. • Troubleshooting Lippert Power Stabilizer Jack That Will Extend But Not Retract
It sounds like you have a bad Switch # LC387874 on your Lippert High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jack # LC298707. The part number you have 337199 does not come from Lippert with a power switch so you may have a different switch used. To verify if the problem is the switch you can simply switch the wiring around on the switch or jumper the power and ground wires to see if the jack will then retract. If the jack will still not retract there is something damaged inside the Motor # LC352338.

The breaker should auto-reset if tripped though, so I do not suspect this is the cause. It is replaceable with part # LC134181. There is also a 20-amp fuse between the battery and the switch as you can see in the diagram below. You will definitely want to check and replace this fuse if needed.
