Hey everyone I'm Ellen here at eTrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Winch Ratchet Repair Kit. This is going to be for your Dutton-Lainson winches. It fits several different part numbers, which I'll list in a minute, but basically this is just going to be that small mechanism that ratchets your winch or helps to keep everything in place and allows you to flip that over. So if something happened, maybe all your components have rusted out, maybe the spring clip has failed, whatever the case might be, this is going to be a replacement for that specific little set there.So if everything else is still operational on your winch, the gears still look good, the wire rope is still okay, you can just invest in this rather than having to invest in a whole new winch. So an easy way to just do that repair for a small part that's failed.In the kit you'll get the flange nut, spring clip, our bolt, the spacer, and the lever for your ratchet.
This is going to fit for the following Dutton-Lainson models: DL600A, DL900A, DL110A, DL1300A. That's going to be for anything manufactured after 1999.This is made in the USA and should get you back to operational.I believe I have misspoke on one of those part numbers, it should be DL1100A.That nut is a locking nut. You can see at the end here its been pinched off, so once you get it tightened down it should hold in place without backing out.The only tools that you'll need will be a 7/16 wrench, one for either side. One for the head of the bolt and then also for the nut, to get everything tightened down properly.That's pretty much all there is to it for our Winch Ratchet Repair Kit. Again, you want to make sure that you inspect all the other pieces of your winch.
Make sure that everything else is in working order before you utilize this kit. If you do need more replacement parts maybe it's time to just invest in a whole new winch. If that's the case we have a lot of options available here at eTrailer.com, but thanks for watching and we'll see you next time.

The product is great, but it took brain surgeon and a nuclear scientist to install it. Not very clear on your illustration. Luckily I bought 2, because we ruined the first one trying to install it the wrong way. I guess we were just not very smart.
