Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Dutton Lainson Ratcheting Replacement Winch Handle. This ratcheting handle is designed for B-series brake winches. When used in place of a regular handle it allows you to raise and lower a load without turning the handle a full revolution, so this is ideal for applications where space is limited. The product is made in the USA; it's made from a durable steel construction with protective finishing, so you don't have to worry about rust or corrosion. The grip right here is a nice grip design, it's got multiple finger indentions for a nice comfortable fit. This is the attachment point of where it attaches to your winch, and then you have a switch right here that allows you to switch between the, basically, the direction that the handle rotates.
So that allows you to operate the ratcheting mechanism in the direction that you want the line to spool or unspool from the winch. So it's a nice design, really nice construction, very solid piece, made in the USA. And I took a measurement from the center of where it mounts, to the outer edge of the grip, and that's gonna be our handle radius, which is around 12-1/2" for this particular handle. That's gonna do it for today's look at the Dutton Lainson Ratcheting Replacement Winch Handle.
