Hey everybody. Welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby. And today, we're taking a look at Coghlan's replacement screen patches for your nylon metal or fiberglass screens. So really really easy way I've just gone ahead and given ourselves a little repair to that hole that we might be having to go ahead and prevent any of those pesky bugs from getting on the inside of our tent. And of course, enjoying that weather still, which is excellent.
So really, really simple product. All we have to do, go ahead and cut these guys to size. Then we take off the paper backing on here and simply press it onto our screen. That makes it really easy to go ahead and get that repair done that way we're ready to go and start enjoying those elements. So, really like how that works.
You can see it's already kind of has a break in the middle too. It might be a little hard to see from your app, but all you gotta do break that, pull it open now once you cut it that way you can get it sticked on really, really quick. So like to see that. Let me go ahead and give you guys a closer look here at the mesh itself. You can see very, very fine.
Definitely don't think we're going to have any issue with any kind of intrusion of bugs through that screen. And this is going to be excellent just to go ahead and give us that repair that we're looking for. Now, I will say it's just an adhesive. I don't know how well this would be holding up, especially if you start like machine washing or something. At that point, we might have to look at like a more full repair for our screens, and that might require just a little bit more specialty.
But again, I think that these are going to be nice for keep inside our tent bag, right That way, if we do get our campsite or for some reason, a tent pegs catches one of our screens, whatever the reason might be, we can go ahead and have a repair, that way we're not waking up in the middle of night, getting chowed on by those mosquitoes or any other kind of pesky bugs. So do like to see that. And we are going to be dealing with near bounce right at five inches for your max width, and for your length here, six and a half inches for all three of your patches, making it a lot easier to go ahead and cut to size. Now, if you guys do have a bigger cut than this. Maybe you can go ahead and start layering them up. Now Coghlan's does go ahead and say give yourself about a half inch covering there for the rest of your patch, right So make sure you have a little bit of overhang on these guys. We're not going to be hanging on just by a bit. We do need that adhesive to start actually getting a good hold there on the rest of our item. But otherwise guys, I think that about does it for our look here today at the Coghlan's replacement screen patches, here at etrailer.com. I'm Bobby. Thank you for watching..
