Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a look at this Valterra RV gravity fill water inlet. This wide mouth fill spout is going to let you fill your RV's freshwater tank very easily. This is a gravity fill freshwater funnel and as you can see the funnel style inlets going to let you fill your tank with a bucket or a pail if a hose is not available. And this sliding clip is going to keep this lid shut when not in use to keep out other things, keep out the elements. Now this barbed connection is going to work with 1 3/8 inch or 1 1/4 inch hose so you have some flexibility there. more

This replacement check valve is going to solve your problem with a broken, leaky city water inlet on your trailer or motor home. And this half inch mpt brass check valve is going to feed into your freshwater lines, preventing pressurized water from back flowing out of the inlet. And this included cap that you see right here is going to insert into the inlet to keep it clean when you're not using it. And it's a nice, tight fit. So, that's going to stay in there I think pretty well. more

It is made out of a UV and impact-resistant plastic, so it's going to be nice and lightweight and yet very durable still. Obviously one of the nice things about this hatch is the locking feature, so it's going to come with one key to allow you to lock up so that no one can access your water hatch, and then obviously you can unlock it and open it up.On the inside here we've got a cap to ensure that our gravity fill spout is covered, so nothing's getting in there if we do have the latch open. Our spout itself is going to come disassembled so it's very easy to get it installed. more

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Valterra Flush Mounted Telescoping Gravity Fill Water Inlet for RVs. This unit allows you to add or replace a gravity fill water inlet on your RV or camper. To open the unit and fill your fresh water tank, all you have to do is lift up on the latch, pull out, and simply pour in your water. When you're done, just close it and the latch snaps shut. The unit does feature appropriate seals internally for leak proof performance. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra Flush Mounted Telescoping Gravity-fill Water Inlet for RVs. This unit allows you to add or replace a gravity-fill water inlet on your RV. To open the unit, just lift up the latch, then you can pull the unit out. It's got a stop on it so it doesn't come all the way out. That gives you the opening so that way you can pour your water in and fill up the tank that way. It does have a seal right there so it's going to create a nice, tight, leak-proof connection once that's closed. more

It's also going to come with a thumb latch mechanism that can replace the lock core, if you'd rather have that option. If we open it up, you'll see that this is the gravity fill connection right here. It's got the threaded cap on there with the tether. Then, also, inside this compartment, located right here, is going to be a small air vent. That's going to let you know when the tank is full. more

Here in the main hatch door, this area down here, this is going to be a sliding door that allows the water hose to pass through with the main hatch door in the closed position. It just rotates out of the way. That opening is going to measure an inch and a quarter wide. From the lip right here to the top of the opening is going to measure one and 7/16 of an inch tall. more

Valterra RV Fresh Water - Water Inlets - A01-0176LFVP Review- Video
Today we're going to look at the Valterra recessed water inlet for RVs with the white metal flange. This part will conform with federal and state laws for drinking water fixtures. It is a lead-free design. As I mentioned, the flange on this is actually a white metal flange with a nice powder coat paint over it. The connection on the back is a 0.5 inch female pipe thread inside brass connection. On the inside is a brass check valve. more

Valterra RV Fresh Water - Water Inlets - A01-2001VP Review- Video
Today, we're going to take a look at the Valterra Gravity Fill City Water Inlet for RVs. This is white in color. This part will have the two water connections right here, and it does conform with Federal and State laws for drinking water fixtures. Right here on the back, you'll see it has a 1/2 inch male pipe thread connection which includes a check valve on the inside. On the outer portion, you can see it has this nice press and dust plug to keep any grind from getting on the inside. If you notice it has this garden hose swivel fitting with a gripper to help tighten it on. The other one, if you notice on the back, it is a 1 1/4 inch barb connection. more

Today we're going to take a look at the Valterra lead-free flush mount water inlet. It has a two and three-quarter inch white plastic flange and a half inch brass male pipe thread fitting. Now this is a flush mount water inlet with a lead-free design. It does conform with federal and state laws for drinking water fixtures.
