Hello neighbor, Steve here with et etrailer.com. Today we're looking at a CAMCO propane fitting. It's a quarter inch male NPT by quarter inch, female inverted flare. So folks, with this fitting, you can connect a propane pigtail with your quarter inch inverted flare to a regular, with a quarter inch female NPT or national pipe thread connector. The quarter inch male is going to connect to the regulator while the quarter inch female will connect to the other end, that then connects to the propane hose. And you can see it's nice and hollow all the way through there. more

Now, this type one Acme connector here will let you attach a low pressure propane regulator to your propane tank. Basically, the connector right here will hand tighten onto the tank, while the quarter inch male NPT or thread will attach to a regulator or supply hose. A low flow rate is ideal for using a single appliance such as a gas grill. Now, this must be used with a regulator that's rated for 200,000 BTUs or less. more

This is commonly used on RVs with a secondary LP tank, and it reduces tank pressure to 30 PSI to stabilize gas so it can smoothly travel across your RV. If you're trying to run an appliance and you're not able to, it's most likely gonna be an issue with the propane if you're trying to run it off of propane and not electric. The first tip we have for you guys is, and I know it seems obvious, is make sure your propane is turned on. There's been many trips when I've been camping, and I've turned on my propane already, got everything ready to go, and somebody decided they wanted to help me and they thought they were turning on the propane but they ended up turning it off. So, just make sure your propane tank itself and your regulator is turned on so that your gas is actually flowing. more

Bobby Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby, Today we are taking a look at the gas gear 90 degree propane hose with your stainless steel construction and this is gonna be an excellent way guys of giving yourself, as you can get, a 90 degree turn, away from the propane lines. We have our standard ACME connection as you guys can see, makes it really easy, just to go ahead on the gear, right before our propane. Now unfortunately, well or fortunately for me, we don't have any propane here in our tank today, but, here's where its gonna work really good open that up, and your propane is gonna actually be able to go into your regulator here, utilizing your quarter inch male inverted flare, and in need of a max pressure about 250 PSIG and about a 200 000 BTU per hour capacity. One thing that's straight obviously, is going ahead and just reducing the amount of space we adding onto the front of our propane, a lot of us are going to have our propane sat on that front of our trailer, and one incher regulator can definitely be a pain, but now with this gas gear, can really be really easy to go ahead, get that angle. Now we'll say 12 inches actually pretty short here, now obviously if your regulator is right next to your guys's tanks, its not gonna be the end of the world. If you guys are having a little bit of trouble though and you need a longer connection, there is a new 18 inch version as well, and if you guys are liking the stainless but you don't quite need it, whether you don't really, quite like the look or just want something a little easier there is gonna be a rubber version for both your 12 inch and your 18 inch version of this. more

So, obviously, gonna be a really great way of just going ahead and plugging in to our propane hoses, guys, or everybody, sorry. And then that makes it really easy to go ahead and run our hose to our regulators. So, as you guys can see, that's gonna make sure, if we don't have to much room here in the front, and a lot of us probably don't have a lot on the tongue of that trailer, trying to run this back to regulators makes it really easy to get that 90 degree. Then we're not having to fight this entire extra length and make that work, we can go ahead, get that 90 degree, get it out of the way, start plugging into our regulator. more

Now these are gonna be an excellent way, guys, of giving yourself a 90 degree connection on your propane tanks, or even your gas stops that you guys might also put on your propane. So I'll show you guys that here in a second. What does this do for us though Well, obviously we're not gonna have too much room there either on the fronts or in the compartments of our trailers, and this can be a nice way of giving ourselves a 90 degree turn. So a lot of us can have it on the tongue of our trailer, and then we can simply plug this guy right in either directly to our propane as you're seeing, as we do have our standard Acme connection. more

Review of MB Sturgis Bulkhead Fitting - MBS47FR- Video
Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this quarter inch female NPT to three quarter inch male thread bulkhead fitting. So, on this end here, you can see it is a quarter-inch female NPT fitting. The hex head size on this end is one inch and on the other side here is the three quarter inch male thread that has the quarter inch internal thread. Now, it does include this 24 millimeter nut and this lock washer that is used to hold this bulkhead fitting to the bulkhead. Just put that on, tighten it down just like that. more

Now, the wrench size to use on this to tighten it down is 18 millimeters and the overall length on this, we put a ruler on it from one end to the other, is right at one and a half inches. Today, we're gonna take a look at the 144 inch long three eighths inch thermal plastic high pressure hose with the three eighths inch female flare swivel ends on it. Now, this is a three eighths inch internal diameter general purpose hose assembly and it's used for LP and natural gas connections. The length we mentioned on this is 144 inches, has on the ends here the three eighths inch female flare swivels on each end, I'm gonna zoom in just to show what we're talking about on that, you can see the ends will swivel on both ends and they are a three eighths inch female flare swivel. The wrench size that fits the hex size here to tighten these down is three quarters of an inch. Now, the hose itself is a thermal plastic construction which is a plastic polymer which will become more soft when it's heated and hard when it's cool. more

Now this is a 3/8 inch inside diameter general purpose hose assembly, and it's used for LP and natural gas connections. The length on this is 24 inches long. We mentioned on each end it has the 3/8 inch size female flare swivels and the wrench size that you use to tighten those down is three quarters of an inch. I mentioned it's a thermoplastic construction. more

MB Sturgis Quick Disconnect Propane Connector Review- Video
Hi there, propane hungry campers! Today, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install MB Sturgis' quick-connect propane fitting. To assist us with this installation, we are going to be using a lot of different connectors and propane accessories from MB Sturgis to get this fitting over here and routed to our existing propane system. And this is what our connector looks like when it's installed. This is going to allow us to connect quick-connect propane accessories onto our system extremely quick and easy. We've even mounted this on the outside of our trailer on the side, so that way, when we get to our campsite, and we're having a good time, we can go ahead and plug in any accessories that we have. It just simply pushes in, pull back on the collar, and then it locks it in place. more
