Hello trailer owners, today we're going to be taking a look at Optronics replacement, taillight assemblies. We're going to be installing the driver's side, which has an additional light, which is a license plate on the bottom. But you can also pick up the passenger side here at etrailer. It's going to be exactly the same, just set up mirrored for that side, without that license plate light.And this is what our replacement taillight is going to look like when it's installed. This is going to be an upgrade over your existing tail lights as this one is LED, which is going to provide you with brighter lights that draw less current. So, it's less draw on your battery and on your truck. more

Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the Peterson side marker or clearance trailer light. This is going to be a great option for your boat trailers or utility trailers, really any trailer that you're needing a new clearance light on. This does have an incandescent bulb in there behind our amber lens, so it's going to give us a nice, clear light to serve as either a clearance or a side marker light, depending on how you have it installed. It is a P2 rated light, so it will give you 90 degrees of beam, so it can be seen from straight on or from 90 degrees in either direction. So it will work as either a clearance or a side marker light, but not both.This does have a nice wedge design to it, so it's going to be ideal for recreational trailers. more

The thing that I also like about this is that it's a LED light that's submersible, so you shouldn't really have to worry about ever needing to change any bulbs with this like you would with an incandescent light, and you can use this on a marine trailer. Even if you're not, if you're just going to be putting it on an irregular trailer or an enclosed trailer or anything else, just the fact that it's submersible means that it's going to be really long-lasting and that there's nothing that's going to be able to get in there and cause any issues.So let's take a little closer look and talk about some more of the details. more

This gives you a yellow light and a red light in one, it kind of has a built in bracket as well so it's going to be a nice addition to your trailer to make sure that you're staying safe and compliant while you're out on the road. The other nice thing about this is that since it does have LEDs, there's nothing to worry about as far as replacing the bulbs ever. It's also sealed, so it can be submerged or used as a submersible light, so you can put this on your Marine trailer, no issues there. And again, that bracket is built into the housing of the light. It's made out of a durable polycarbonate, I have it illuminated right now, it's just got the two wires, one to power one to ground.White goes to ground, black goes to power. more

Now, if you have a trailer that's over 80 inches wide, you will need to have an identification light, and so that's what this is going to function for.It has three incandescent lights mounted onto a metal bar, makes it pretty easy to install this. Really just have to connect one power wire, and then screw this down to your trailer. You want to make sure that you make good contact with a metal surface since that's what's going to provide the ground for the lights. It does not come with any mounting hardware, so you will have to pick that up on your own. more

Hey everybody, Ryan here at E-trailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the command LED bullet clearance or side marker light. So once you kind of grabbed the light and hold it in your hand, first thing I noticed is the housing, it's going to be pretty thick, feels pretty solid so, I could see this standing up pretty well to the elements. The wire length is going to be relatively long. So you have a little bit to work with there, which is always nice. I do want to mention this light is non submersible, so definitely wouldn't recommend using it for a boat trailer or an off-road machine. more

Light is going to be an incandescent light, the bulb itself is going to give us 15,000 hours of light, it's going to be a single wire design, and that's going to work with 12V DC systems. These lights are going to be a great replacement light for any light on your trailer that may be, burnt out or maybe corroded and just not working anymore. Keep in mind, this is a red lens, so it is designed to be used on the back of the trailer, there are amber lenses available, which are to be mounted on the front of the trailer. With it being, three and a half inches wide or three and a half inches long by an inch wide, makes it very easy to mount these lights in an area where you might be in a tight space.The base, is going to be a durable impact resistant acrylic, the lens is also going to be an acrylic lens. more

Today, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Optronics passenger side GloLight LED trailer light, which is also available for the driver's side. It's going to be a great replacement light or even an upgrade over your existing incandescent style trailer light. Since it uses LEDs, it's going to be much brighter and lasts a really long time. Since this is the GloLight, what that means is on the top and bottom here, you can see those solid stripes. Those are good at not only kind of throw off more light to make it easier to see, but in my opinion, it's going to look a little bit more modern and should really add a little touch of style to the back of your trailer. more

Optronics GLOLight LED Combination Trailer Tail Light Review and Installation- Video
Hey everybody, Ryan here at Etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Optronics driver's side glow-light LED trailer light, which is also available for the passenger's side. It's going to be a great replacement for your existing trailer lights, or even an upgrade over those traditional, incandescent style bulbs. This is going to be LED and have 34 diodes. So it's going to be really bright, even on a sunny day like this, you're not going to have any issues seeing it. And since those LEDs run a little bit cooler, they're going to last a lot longer, and you're not going to have to worry about carrying any extra bulbs with you on your trailer if those old style incandescent ones pop.So this is going to have what they call a glow light, and as you can see here on the top and bottom, it's more or less a big strip of lighting, and in my opinion it looks pretty good, looks modern, but not only that, it's kind of going to throw more light out and make it a little more obvious over the standard, kind of single, independent LEDs like we have in the center. more

Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Optronics driver's side LED tail light. This is also available for the passenger side as well. The light is going to have LEDs, which lasts a really long time, and it's going to have 23 diodes, which as you can see, even on a really bright sunny day, the light is going to shine really bright and other motorists are going to have no problem seeing you. The light is going to be specifically designed for boat trailers, which means it is going to be submersible. However, I always do recommend whenever you go to launch your boat to just turn the power off on the lights just to be on the safe side.So the back of our light is all nice and sealed and really well-built, feels like it'll hold up for a while, and it's also going to have some little cutouts here and what that's going to allow us to do is push our wiring down flush, that way we don't have to worry about pinching it. more

This light is going to make a great replacement or upgrade for your existing marker lights, whether they're damaged or if you just want a brighter, more efficient bulb. Inside, we have three LEDs that offers a nice bright light that we can see even here in the daylight with the sun beaming down on it. The LEDs are going to be considerably brighter than your incandescent bulbs, and they also last typically about 50 times longer than incandescent bulbs. Another benefit of this is that they are completely non serviceable. more

They have a sort of epoxy material around them to help protect from any kind of water so it's not going to corrode or cause any shorts, and it also helps protect them from vibration as well. more

Ellen: Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the LED Trailer Tail Light. This is going to be a submersible LED light to give you the functions for your driver's side on your trailer. The reason why this is particularly for the driver's side is because it also has an additional light at the bottom for your license plate so that can be illuminated at all times as well. And it's a kind of a boxy light, but everything in here is sealed. The housing here does have a couple little holes so water could get in there, but all the actual diodes, all the actual electrical components are sealed with a potting material so no water is going to cause any issues with the important components. While water might get in there, it's not going to cause any damage.If we take a look at this, I've got this already illuminated with just the running light function. more

This is going to be a nice addition to your trailer to make sure that people can see you while you're going down the road. Operates as a clearance or side marker light since this is a P2 rated light. Basically, that just means that you can only see it from about a 45 degree angle. So you can't see it from a full 180 degrees, that would be a PC rated light. more

Now this dome light will function as an interior ceiling light in your RV. It does use the Luminex optics, which will create a nice solid panel of light that helps eliminate the entire lens.You can see it's a nice, clear lens with white LEDs. And the LEDs are nice because they make great replacements for incandescent lights. They last about 50 times longer. more

The thing that I like about this is that it is a submersible sealed LED light, so that means that it's going to last for a long time. We can use it in just about any kind of situation, whether that's a marine trailer, enclosed trailer, something that maybe is even going a little off the road, because it also has potting material in here to make sure that it's very durable as well. more
