EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Installation - 2023 Subaru Impreza

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look installing the Eco Hitch trailer hitch receiver on 2023 Subaru Impreza. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your Impreza and the great part is it's a hidden cross tube, meaning the only thing that you're gonna see hanging outside of the vehicle is gonna be the safety chain loops and the two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. Then that's something I'll point out. Some of the other options for the Impreza are only inch and a quarter and have lower weight capacities, where this one being a two inch by two inch really opens it up for a lot of different accessories. Whether you're using a bike rack, a ball mount or a cargo carrier, you're gonna have tons of options available. All of those are gonna stay in place with a 5/8 pin and clip. more

EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Installation - 2022 Subaru Impreza

Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look and installing the EcoHitch Class III Trailer Hitch on a 2022 Subaru Impreza. Adding a trailer hitch to any vehicle is really nice, 'cause it really opens up what you can do with the vehicle. Now, this Impreza is great, because it's a hatchback and this one in particular, they put a roof rack on it. So they've really opened up the real estate they can use. But having that hitch is really good for when you need to load up your bikes on a bike rack or a cargo carrier, or even if you need to pull a small trailer, you have that ability now having your trailer hitch installed. more

Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Subaru Impreza

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Subaru Impreza, you're going to be taking a look at, I'm going to show you how to install the Draw-Tite Class 1, Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 24960.As you can see, the cross tube is visible on this hitch. However, at this it does sit nice and tucked in underneath the bumper fascia, or back underneath the vehicle. With it being a Class 1 hitch, the cross tube is not really oversized, so it's not overbearing on the back of the vehicle. It's not taking away from the look.Again, this is going to be a Class 1 hitch, it's going to be 1 1/4" by 1 1/4". It's going to have rolled steel style safety chain rings, gives you plenty of room for different size safety chain hooks. Hitch pin hole's going to be 1/2" in diameter. The hitch does not come with its own hitch pin and clip, however, you can find one here at etrailer.com. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Subaru Impreza, we're gonna be taking a look at showing you how to install the Draw-Tite classic fit trailer hitch receiver, part number DT-24959. So here's what our hitch is going to look like. The cross tube is going to be visible, and it's going to fit right below our bumper. It's a class one hitch, which means it's going to give us an inch and a quarter, by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening, and this is going to be great for some of those small bike racks or smaller cargo carriers. The way we're going to mount all of our accessories, is going to be through the hitch pin pull here on the side, and it is going to accept a standard half inch pin and clip. While these aren't included in our kit, you can pick them up here at etrailer.com using part number PC2.The safety chain connection points are going to be a loop style, welded to the bottom of the receiver tube. Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Subaru Impreza we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Draw Tite Class I custom fit trailer hitch receiver, part number DT24959.My overall impression of this hitch, it is one of the nicer looking ones because it does stick up nice, close to the bumper and hugs the car nicely. However, it is a Class I, so we are going to be limited on the accessories and the weight that we can pull with it. But compared to the Curt Class I, we're not going to have to worry about using any kind of stabilization straps if we are carrying a bike rack or a cargo carrier. It is going to sit right below the bumper, and that cross tube going from side to side is going to be visible. It's going to give us that inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening, which is going to be great for some smaller bike racks or a small cargo carrier. Just keep in mind, since it is a Class I, it's only going to accept Class I accessories because there is that stop inside the back of the receiver tube. Now, the way we're going to mount all of our accessories to the hitch pin hole here, and it is going to accept a half-inch pin and clip. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Subaru Impreza we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite class three custom fit trailer hitch receiver, part number 76209. My overall impression of this hitch is that it is gonna be great for a lot of different things. It does sit a little bit lower than some, it's a class three hitch which means it's gonna give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening which is gonna open up our options for accessories if we want to tow something or possibly carry up to several different bikes or a cargo carrier. The way we're gonna mount our accessories is gonna be the hole towards the front of our vehicle which is gonna be the hitch pin hole and that's gonna accept a standard five-eighths pin and clip. Now these aren't included in our kit but you can pick them up on our website using part number PC3. The secondary hole towards the back of the receiver tube is gonna be use exclusively for the J-pin stabilization device. The way that's gonna work is it's gonna go through the hitch pin hole like normal and then it's gonna have this hook here which is gonna go in and apply pressure to our accessory keeping it from rattling. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Subaru Impreza, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt class one custom fit trailer hitch receiver, part number C11465. My overall impression of the hitch is, that it's going to be great if you're only going to carry up to two bikes. Because it is a class one, so it is going to limit us on how much we can carry and the accessories. Now if you step up to a class two or three, it is going to open that to a lot more options. It is going to sit right below the bumper and we are going to see the cross tube. It's a class one hitch, which means it's going to give us that inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening. And it is going to be pretty close to flush with our bumper. more

Today on our 2006 Subaru Impreza we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the CURT custom fit class one trailer hitch, part number C11318. Here you can see what the hitch looks like once it's installed on the vehicle. Now, as you can see, it comes down maybe just a little further than some of the others that I've seen here, but it was also a little easier to put in the car because of the way this is designed here. It's a little bit thinner area that goes over our exhaust system, so kind of some give and some take there. It hangs down here, which is a little different I think than what some of the other ones do. Aesthetically, you may decide you like one over the other. Something we did like about this this hitch is that it mounts using just four bolt hole locations rather than the six. more
