Hey everyone, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2023 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, we're gonna be showing you how to install the Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver. Before we do that though, we'll take a minute, check this one out and make sure it's gonna be the right hitch for you. So a lot of people use these vans to do a lot of different things and by having a hitch on the back of it, it's gonna open up your opportunities on what you're gonna be able to get done, you know, using accessories and things like that. Now with that said, this hitch is going to have the smaller receiver tube opening, so it's gonna be an inch and a quarter by an inch and a quarter in size. And with these, they're the accessories and everything that's available for. more

Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at installing the etrailer trailer hitch receiver on a 2021 Chrysler Pacifica. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed, and it is an exposed cross tube, meaning you're gonna see a good majority of the hitch hanging down below the rear fascia, but overall, it's tucked back far enough, and it's got a nice matte black powder coat finish, so it looks pretty stealthy under there, and it doesn't really detract away from the looks of the van. Now this one is a two-inch by two-inch receiver tube opening, which is a great option for a ton of different accessories, whether it be ball mounts, bike racks, or cargo carriers. You will have a huge selection. Now all of those will stay in place with a five-eighths pin and clip. This is not included with the hitch. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Curt Class 2 trailer hitch receiver on a 2021 Chrysler Pacifica. This is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed and it's an exposed cross tube, which means you can see a good majority of the hitch hanging down underneath the bumper, but it sits pretty high up, to where it's really not too much of a concern. Still has an overall pretty clean look. Now this is an inch and a quarter receiver tube opening. So when it comes to tubes and accessories, you're gonna be a little bit limited. There are two inch options available for this vehicle that I might recommend. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2019 Chrysler Pacifica. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed and the great part about this hitch is it is a hidden cross tube, meaning the only thing that you're gonna see once it's installed is gonna be the receiver opening and this one, being a 2" by 2" receiver tube opening, is a great size. You're gonna have tons of options available for bike racks, cargo carriers or even a ball mount if you're looking to tow. Now all of those accessories are gonna stay in place with a 5/8" pin and clip. And the hitch does not come with a pin and clip. more

Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the etrailer trailer hitch receiver on a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica. This is an exposed cross tube, meaning you are gonna see the portion of the hitch that runs up to where it bolts into the frame, but overall this one's tucked back pretty well to where it's not too right in your face. Some of the other hitches that you'll see, it's pretty apparent that the hitch is there, this one, it's tucked back a little bit and it gives it a pretty clean look overall. Now, this is a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, so this is gonna be really good for a lot of different accessories. This is kind of the standard in the industry, so if you're looking for ball mounts or a bike rack, or cargo carrier, you have plenty of options available. Now, when you do put your accessories in place you're gonna need a 5/8 pin and clip as the hitch does not come with one, a lot of your accessories will come with it but it's gonna be required to keep those in place. more

So adding a trailer hitch to your Pacifica here, it's gonna be a great option 'cause it's gonna allow you to obviously tow a trailer. But if you wanted to hit some trails or just simply free up some space inside the vehicle for you and the family on those long road trips you could easily attach either a hitch-mounted bike rack or hitch-mounted cargo carrier. more

Hey, everybody. How's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the CURT trailer hitch receiver here on our 2018 Chrysler Pacifica. So adding a trailer hitch to your Pacifica, it's gonna be a great idea because it's gonna make your vehicle that much more versatile. Now, we can obviously use a trailer hitch for towing, but if we wanted to hit the trails or just free up some space inside the vehicle for us and the family on those long road trips, we could easily attach either a hitch-mounted bike rack or hitch-mounted cargo carrier. So in regards to towing, our trailer hitch is gonna provide us with a 4,000-pound gross trailer weight rating, that's the amount we can pull outward on the receiver tube, and also has a 400-pound tongue weight rating, which is the downward force on the receiver tube. Now, keep in mind, these capacities are for the hitch only, which is actually tested separately of the vehicle. more

Now right away, this hitch is going to be visible, but since it does sit further back and because of its finish, it's not really going to be all that noticeable especially when the band is sitting down on the ground. And that finish is going to be one of the things that really sets us apart from some of the others. It's going to be a matte black carbide finish, so it's going to be really scratch resistant and really hold up well to elements and stay looking good for a really long time.Now this is a Class III hitch, so we're going to have that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening and a reinforced collar for extra strength. Many of our Pacifica customers plan on using their vans to do a little bit of everything. That's why I really liked this hitch, since it is a Class III and has that two inch by two inch opening the amount of accessories you're going to be able to find that'll work with it is more or less endless. And it's going to have some pretty high weight capacities too.Now, as far as a maximum gross tongue weight rating, that's going to be 400 pounds, the amount of weight pushing down on our hitch. So that's going to be good for those large cargo carriers and those one to four bike racks. more

This is going to be a class II hitch. It's going to be one and a quarter inch by one and a quarter inch opening. Your hitch pin hole is going to be half inch in diameter, you're going to have nice loop style safety chain rings, give you plenty of room for multiple size safety chains. more

It offers the 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening, it's part number is 76046. Here's what our hitch is going to look like installed. As you can see something I like about this hitch, our cross tube stays pretty hidden up behind the fascia. That's different than what we've seen from some of the other hitches. Whereas that's going to come over here to our receiver tube opening, this is 2 inch by 2 inches. Reinforcement collar around in there looks nice and neat. more

Today on our 2017 Chrysler Pacifica we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Curt Custom Fit class two trailer hitch receiver. This offers the inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter opening. It's part number is C12159. Here's what our hitch is going to look like installed. We've got a pretty narrow cross tube comes around here, it's going to meet at the middle with our inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening here. You can see Curt offers a flush reinforcement collar here around the end. It gives it a nice clean look. more

Today on our 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, we're going to take a look at and also show you how to install the Curt Custom Fit Class Three Trailer Hitch Receiver, offering the 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening. Its part number is C13286. Here's what our hitch looks like installed. We've got our round tube it comes across, and it's going to go to our side plates there, which are going to connect to the frame. Here in the middle we've got our 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening. You can see, Curt's got a nice flush collar around the end of it there, which gives it a nice look. Side plates are going to come up, oval shaped holes in there. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2005 Chrysler Pacifica - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on our 2005 Chrysler Pacifica, we're going to review and install the Draw-Tite class three receiver hitch, part number 75522. This is what the hitch looks like once installed on Pacifica. Our hitch does have a two inch opening right here, which works with a wide variety of ball-mounts, and other accessories such as bike racks or cargo carriers. Also, you can see how it fits on the vehicle on the edge of the hitch here, it's just behind this edge of the bumper. You notice our hitch has two holes on each side. This 5/8 diameter hole right here is designed for your hitch-pins, or locking hitch-pins, for all of your accessories. This smaller diameter hole here that is on both sides, is designed for use of J-pin stabilization pin. That works with all of your accessories and ball-mounts that do not have their own anti-rattle devices built in. On the very bottom of our hitch, we have our safety-chain loops right here. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2007 Chrysler Pacifica - Curt- Video
Today on this 2007 Chrysler Pacifica were going to install part number 13529 from Curt. This is what the hitch looks like when its installed on a vehicle. Next well go ahead and give you some measurements to help you in selecting some accessories such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack, or a cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground is going to be 11 inches. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper is going to be three and a quarter inches. Trailer Hitch Installation - 2006 Chrysler Pacifica - Hidden Hitch- Video
Today on our 2006 Chrysler Pacifica, we're going to install hidden hitch, part number 87432. First, will be to remove the spare tire before you can begin installation. We've already gone and done that. Our next step will be put a safety strap under the exhaust as we'll need to lower it, but we don't want it to fall too far and damage the exhaust, so using a safety strap will help hold the exhaust. Then to remove the exhaust, we're going to remove the rubber isolators, easiest way to do this is to spray each isolator with a little spray lubricant and simply pry it off the metal stud of the muffler. Now we can use our safety strap to lower the exhaust to give us access to the frame. more

Today on our 2006 Chrysler Pacifica, we're going to install the draw tight hitch, part number 75522. First, will be to remove the spare tire before you can begin installation. Trailer Hitch Installation - 2005 Chrysler Pacifica- Video
Today on this 2005 Chrysler Pacifica, we are going to be installing Hidden Hitch part number 87432 and this installation with also apply to Draw-Tite hitch part number 75522. Before we get started with our installation, we are going to go ahead and give you a couple of final installed dimensions which are going to help make choosing your hitch accessories a little easier. From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground, is going to measure 11-1/2 inches and from the center of the pin hole to clear the rear edge of the bumper is going to measure about 3-1/2 inches. And now we will go ahead and move onto our installation. OK, the first thing we have done is gone ahead and lowered down the spare tire just to give us a little more working room. We are starting off over in the passenger side, we are going to go ahead and lower down the exhaust first. If you do have dual exhaust you will need to do this on both sides. more

Today on this 2005 Chrysler Pacifica, we are going to install part number 12262 from Curt. This is what the hitch looks like when it is installed. Now we will go ahead and give you some measurements. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground is going to be 11-3/4 inches on this particular vehicle. Trailer Hitch Installation - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica- Video
Today we are going to install part number 87432 from Hidden Hitch. We will be installing this class 3 receiver on a 2003 Chrysler Pacifica. This also will apply to part number 75522 from Draw Tite. To begin our install we actually took down our spare tire. Which is optional but it makes things easier in the long run. Basically what we are going to do here is take out this one bolt here. That should be held up here. And hardware will be pulled through this oval hole here and through the small square hole. 2 more bolts will be coming from the inside out here. It will be the same thing on both sides. Now on the passenger side obviously your exhaust will be in the way so we are going to want to lower it. We lower it by removing the rubber hangers and then getting the exhaust out of the way for more working room. It is also a good idea to use a strap to keep the exhaust from going down all the way. more
