Draw-Tite Hidden Hitch Trailer Hitch Installation - 2020 Toyota RAV4- Video

Hello neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Draw-Tite Hidden Hitch on a 2020 Toyota RAV4. Now, here we have our hitch actually installed on the vehicle and you may say, well, where is it And that's why this is the hidden hitch. Reason being is you can actually take your receiver tube opening out and store it elsewhere, that way you get a nice clean look when you're not using it. So you can see here, you have your holes for your safety chain loops but other than that, there's nothing here. Now, when you are ready to actually hook up to your trailer or any of your accessories, what you're gonna do is simply take this blue knob and you're gonna push it in and then twist back and that should lock that in place. more

Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Installation - 2022 Toyota Avalon- Video

Hey everybody, how's it going Today we are gonna be going over and showing you how to install the draw tite trailer hitch receiver here on a 2022 Toyota Avalon. So here's what our trailer hitch looks like installed on the vehicle here, and it does sort of sit back behind the bumper a couple inches there, so you don't need to worry about banging your shin down when you're walking by and it also looks a little bit better. Now our trailer hitch here, does have a black powder coated finish which is gonna help protect the hitch from rust, and it's also gonna help it blend in with the underbody paneling on the vehicle better. So adding a trailer hitch to your Avalon it's gonna be a great idea because it's not only gonna allow you to tow a trailer but if we wanted to hit the trailers or just simply free up some space inside the vehicle for us and the family on those long road trips we could easily attach either a Hitchmount of bike or Hitchmount and cargo carrier. So in regards to towing, our trailer hitch is gonna provide us with a 3,500 pound gross trailer rate waiting, that's the amount we can pull outward on the receiver, and it also has a 350 pound tongue weight rating which is a downward force. Now, keep in mind, these capacities are for the hitch only, which is tested separately of the vehicle, therefore you do need to verify the vehicle's towing capacity in your owner's manual and abide by the lower of the two rated components whether that's the hitch or the vehicle. more

Curt Class I Trailer Hitch Installation - 2020 Toyota Corolla- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Curt Class 1 Trailer Hitch on a 2020 Toyota Corolla. So this is what our hitch is gonna look like once it's installed and you'll see right away this is an inch and a quarter, and this is a smaller size than your normal hitch. Now on many sedans and small vehicles such as this, including my own personal car, sometimes you're limited to an inch and a quarter, which isn't the end of the world. We'll just need to make sure when you're picking accessories, that you get the shank that's gonna fit that size. What is it capable of Well, this is gonna allow you to be able to put some bike racks, as well as cargo carriers on here. And that's gonna open up what you can actually do with the vehicle and give you a little bit of extra real estate. more

Now, this is what our trailer hitch is gonna look like when it's installed. And you see it does live underneath the rear fascia but it does have an exposed cross tube. But I tell you what When it comes to a minivan, if you have kids in the back or anything like that, having a hitch is a great option to add a lot of real estate to your vehicle, whether it be for your bike racks, cargo carriers or even towing a small trailer. So really the look of the cross tube under here with the black powder coat finish doesn't look too bad and I think it's totally worth it, for the actual usability of the hitch. more

Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2022 Toyota Tacoma- Video

What's up everybody, Adam, here with e-trailer. Today we have a 2022 Toyota Tacoma, and we're gonna be taking a look at the Draw-Tite Class III, two inch Trailer Hitch Receiver. Of all the ones on our website, this is gonna give you the most amount of capacity. The tongue weight is gonna have a max of 1050 pounds, and the overall trailer weight is gonna be about 7,000 pounds. We can use a weight distribution system with this, which will get our tongue weight all the way up to about 1200 pounds, and the overall trailer weight to about 8,000 pounds. Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2021 Toyota C-HR- Video

Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver here on our 2021 Toyota CHR. So this is what the trailer hitch looks like on our CHR here. As we can see, it has a nice concealed design meaning the cross tube is gonna be tucked up, back away behind the bumper here. So the only thing we are gonna be able to see is the receiver tube, which gives us the best overall appearance. Now, what we can see the receiver tube has a nice black powder coated finish, which is gonna help it blend in well at the bottom of the vehicle, it's also gonna help protect the hitch from rust and corrosion, being that it is outside so over time it can be subjected to the elements. So adding a trailer hitch to your CHR, it's gonna be an excellent option, because it's gonna make your vehicle that much more versatile. more

Class one hitch is gonna be designed for light loads, for instance, bike rack. You have a couple of bikes, tired of loading 'em in the trunk of the car, you wanna put something outside, but you don't wanna buy something you have to load 'em up on the roof. This is gonna allow you to install a bike rack, easily install your bikes on the rack. Keep in mind, with it being a class one hitch, you're gonna be limited up to a two-bike bike rack. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver here on a 2016 Toyota Highlander. So here's what our trailer hitch is gonna look like installed. As we can see, most of it is actually hidden behind the bumper here. Therefore, it's gonna give us a very factory like finish. Now, the things we can see, the actual receiver tube as well as the rest of the hitch, has a nice durable black powder coat finish, which is again, gonna help it blend in with the vehicle well. It's also gonna do a great job of protecting our hitch from rust and corrosion being that it is on the underside of our vehicle. more

Hi there Toyota owners. Today on your 2020 Toyota Highlander, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Draw-Tite's class three two inch trailer hitch receiver. And this is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. The cross tube's gonna be hidden behind the bumper, but you are gonna see the receiver here at the back. But it does stay tucked up pretty nicely so I don't feel like it detracts from the looks of the vehicle. And in my opinion, I think it makes your Highlander more rugged and aggressive looking. more

So one of the main questions that we get asked all the time is if the hitch is going to interfere with the hands-free lift gate assist, and the answer is no. Unfortunately the model that we have here today does not have that feature, so I can't actually show you, but from my experience in the past, I've put hitches on RAV4s that do have that feature. more

But, from my experience in the past, all you're going to have to do is kick your foot to one side or the other of the hitch, and might take a couple tries, but you'll find that sweet spot, and it'll work just like it should.So these RAV4's are really versatile SUV's. more
