Now, here's what our install kit is going to look like right out of our packaging. There's no need to cut or slice the manufacture's wiring to install the custom kit. The T-connectors will match the manufacturer's wiring connectors and will be able to plus right in. The T-connector with the yellow wire will be for the driver's side and will have a matching one with a green wire for the passenger's side. Here, we have our full flat trailer connector. Today on our 2015 Ford F250, we're going to be installing the draw tight fifth wheel goose neck wiring harness, with he seven pole end. Part number is 20110. Here's what the wiring kits going to look like. Were going to have the single plug, that's going to plug into the backside of our seven way plug that will be in the bed of the truck. Then we've got our two plugs, this is going to act as a connector, so when we separate our factory tow harness under the vehicle, one side's going to plug into one side of it, the other end to the other, and our connections are going to be made. Fifth Wheel Wiring Harness Installation - 2004 Ford F-250 Super Duty- Video
Today on this 2004 Ford F-250 Super Duty, we're going to show you the 5th Wheel and Gooseneck 90 Degree Wiring Harness with a 7-pole plug, part number 54701-003 from Bargman. We'll go ahead and cover the parts that comes with this kit. First off, here is the 7-pole connector that gets installed in the bed of the truck, nice touch, it has a detailed listing of what pin does what by function. The other end has a T connector, that will plug into the vehicle's pre-existing wiring harness underneath the truck on on this factory 7-pole connector by the bumper. This is a spacer, this actually just goes behind the 7-pole connector to space it out if anything interacts with the backside of our connector here, so that helps out a little bit. A set of self tapping screws that'll attach to the four holes in the connector. more

Today on our 2015 Ford Mustang, we're going to review and install the Two Ready T1 Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Trailer Connector, part number 118487. Now we'll go ahead and review and show you the operation of our 4-flat trailer connector. Our trailer connector gets stored inside down in the spare tire well. We'll simply take the 4-flat connector out, run it out over the threshold, staying away from the truck latches pinching it off in the latch, can't harm the wire. However, the weather stripping is thick enough that we can simply close the trunk on it. Then, we'll run the 4-flat connector down to our hitch or address. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2008 Ford Fusion- Video
Today on our 2008 Ford Fusion, we're going to install the Towready T1 Vehicle Wiring Harness with Four Pull Flat Trailer Connector, part number 118422. To start our install we'll go ahead and open up our trunk. First we're going to go ahead, raise up the trunk liner here and just tuck it up here out of the way so we can get access to the side panels here and where our wiring is. So let's take this, you fold it up a little bit, it'll tuck it up out of the way. Now we need to go ahead and remove our threshold, there's a few push fasteners here, there's one here, there's two here on the lower part, and one over here on the side, so we'll go ahead and take those out with a trim panel remover tool or if you have a large flat blade screwdriver you can get underneath it and pop that out, so we're going to remove those and then we can move our threshold out of place. You just got to work them out, sometimes they pop out, sometimes they put up a little bit of a fight but they will come out if you just work back and forth. Just go ahead and set those aside, and before you can get your threshold free there are two more push fasteners here, right here, and on the other side, they do kind of blend in, you'll be able to see them, trim panel tool there and pop it free. And then we take our trim panel tool here, get it underneath the edge of our threshold and pop it free, and once you get all of this free, as you can see there's just these tabs here that clip in to the body, once you get it popped free you can just take your threshold and set it out of the way. more

First off, there's two OEM connection points, which basically T's off into your seven pull connector, but it's located in the bumper of the truck. You've got a generous length of wire lead. So you can put this anywhere you want on the inside bed of your truck. more

Today in our 2015 Ford Fusion, we're going to review and install the Tow Ready T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness. Part number 118574. Now, to use your new 4 pole trailer connector, simply open up the rear trunk, the spare tire cover and we'll pull it out from where it's stored next to the spare tire. Now, we can simply run it out and over the threshold staying away from the trunk latch but knowing that the weather stripping is thick enough that we can simply close the rear trunk on our 4-pole connector. We'll run it down to our e-trailer accessory and then once we're finished, we can simply roll it up and store it down with a spare tire making it a really nice feature that it stores inside the vehicle and outside of the elements that can cause wear and tear on our 4-pole connector. Next, I'm going to show you how you install the Tow Ready 4-pole trailer connector. Now, to begin our install, we're going to open up the rear trunk and remove the spare tire cover. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2015 Ford F-250- Video
Today on our 2015 Ford F250 Super Duty, we'll be installing the Bargman 5th Wheel Gooseneck 90 Degree Wiring Harness with 7 pole plug, part number 50-97-410. Now we need to find a suitable mounting location for our 7 pole here up in our bed. We're going to go in this general area. I like this section right here because it does stick out a little bit, so it gives you a little extra room between the side of your bed. Go ahead and get it in the general area, then we'll go ahead and take our quarter inch bit, make a pilot hole, then we can go ahead and drill out our 2 inch hole with our hole saw. You do want to be careful when drilling here, as you don't want to go too far and hit the outside of the bed of your truck. Now that we have our pilot bit drilled, we can go ahead and cut out our 2 inch hole with our hole saw, then we can go ahead and feed our wires down underneath our vehicle. Now we'll go ahead and vacuum up our shavings and we can go ahead and start feeding our wires underneath. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2015 Ford Escape- Video
Today on our 2015 Ford Escape we'll be installing the Tow Ready T-One vehicle wiring harness with 4-pole flat trailer connector, part number 118566. Now to begin our install we're first going to go ahead and open up the rear hitch. Once we have the rear hitch open we need to remove both taillight assemblies. Each taillight assembly has two fastener covers and then two fasteners underneath, so keep in mind each process we do here to one side will get repeated identically on the opposite side. I'm going to use a small pick to remove the fastener cover. You could also use a small flat blade screwdriver. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2015 Ford Explorer 118540- Video
Today, on our 2015 Ford Explorer, we'll be installing the Tow Ready, T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, part number 118540. Here's what our wiring harness will look like once it's installed. As you can see, the connection points mirror manufacturer's connection points, so we can plug in line with our T-connector. The 4-pole harness itself will then pick up the signals through the T-connection and run it to our 4-pole trailer connector, which already has the pre-installed wire loom to help protect it as we route it over top of the exhaust and across to our hitch. Then at the 4-pole connector, it's got a nice molded built on cap so we don't lose it, help protecting the end of our 4 flat trailer connection. Then when you're ready to use it, simply remove the cap and run it to your trailer or accessory. Now we'll go ahead and show you how to install your new Tow Ready T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-pole Flat Trailer Connector. To begin our install, we first need to locate the manufacturer's rear wiring harness that's located on the inner fender well here on the passenger's side, above the muffler, and between the muffler and the fender well. more

The rear threshold is held in by two push pin fasteners, one on each side. Once we remove the two fasteners we'll then pull up on the threshold and release the fasteners underneath. We'll need to gain access behind the taillight assemblies so we'll remove the two cargo hooks on each side. more

Today on our 1997 Ford F250 we'll be installing the Draw-Tite 4-pole hard wiring kit, part number 18252. You can see right here this vehicle does already have a 4-flat installed but it is all corroded up and not really working properly. We're going to go ahead and go into the wires here, go ahead and peel our protective coating back. We're going to go ahead and cut the wires off and then splice our new connector in using the quick splice connectors. We'll just be lining up color with color. We'll go ahead and trim our wires here, be able to remove the old 4-pole. more

Today in our 2013 Ford Mustang, we'll be installing the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Connector, part number C56088. To begin our install, we'll first open up the rear trunk and locate the fasteners that secure the rear threshold. There is a total of four fasteners, two on each side. Here's the top. We've got a plastic wing nut fastener that we'll screw off. We'll use our interior trip nail 00:00:27 tool, or a flat blade screwdriver, to get underneath the fasteners and pop them free. Here at the bottom we've got a pushpin fastener. Now, we'll go ahead and repeat the same process on the fastener side. Then, we'll pull up on the threshold to release the fasteners underneath so we can slide it out of the way. more

To do this it's beneficial if you have a body clip fastener removal tool. If not, a large flat head screw driver could be used if necessary. Next we'll go ahead and start on the driver's side. You need to locate the wiring harness where it connects to the back of the light assembly and unclip the connector at the back of the driver side light assembly. more

Today on our 2006 Ford van we're going to install part number 18252. This is a four pull hard wiring kit with circuit tester. First thing that you do is get our van ready. We need to take off the two tail lights. Starting on the drivers side here, we'll go ahead and remove the bolts. We're using a T 15 torque to take these out. The screws loosened, we'll go ahead and take out the remaining two. We'll just go ahead and leave our drivers side alone fore now. more

Today on our 2015 Ford F350 Super Duty Crew Cab, we're going to be installing the Draw-Tite 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Wiring Harness with a 7-Pole, part number 20110. Now before we get our installation, we've already going ahead and remove the spare tire down out of the way. While it's not 100% necessary to do that, it does give you a little more working room and to make things a little bit easier for routing your wire. We're going to take our factory plug here, we're going to squeeze it on the tab on the backside. Get the plug loose, you see right up here on top of the hitch, the wiring is actually connected to the hitch so we're going to go ahead and remove the wiring here. So we have a little more slack with our wiring. Next we're going to need to undo the wiring from the back of the factory 7 and 4-way plug. more

Today on our 2004 Ford Van, we'll be installing the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, part number C56020. Let's go ahead and show you how to use your new 4-pole connector. We'll simply take the 4-pole connector out of the access slot next to the spare tire tools and run it out and over the threshold. Be careful to stay away from any latches, and simply close the rear cargo door on the wire. Then once were finished using our 4-pole connector with our accessory, well simply roll it up and store it in the spare tire tool compartment. By storing it inside, it will help protect it from the outside elements, providing more longevity for your new 4-pole harness.Now, lets go ahead and show you how to install it. more

Today, our 2002 Ford F150 SuperCrew Cab, we're going to install part number 118242. This is a Ford replacement OEM tow-package wiring harness. Now, what this will do, it will upgrade your preexisting 4-pole harness on tow package up to a 7-pole. Now, our new upgrade harness will actually work with a factory 4-pole wire harness. Today, on this 2013 Ford Taurus, we're going to install part number 118599 from Tow Ready. To install our wiring harness, we need to get inside the trunk and get access to the wires behind the taillights. We'll go ahead and move our floor covering forward just a little bit so we can go ahead and take our threshold and pull straight up on it to release it. There it goes. Just pull straight up. Next, we have to get access behind this liner right here, so go ahead and remove this plastic rivet, the tie-down, as well as these attachment points here, as well. A trim-panel tool works best for these. more

Today on our 2011 Ford F-350 SuperDuty, we're going to be installing the Bargman 5th wheel and Gooseneck 90-degree wiring harness with a 7-pole plug, part number 54701-003. Now in the bed of the vehicle, this is what our wiring harness looks like. Now, we're going to need to drill the hole through the side of the bed to mount a plug here for our wiring harness. Now that we have our location chosen, we're going to need to use a 2 inch hole saw to drill the hole in the side of the bed. Now, we'll go ahead and take the end of our wiring harness with the two plugs on it. We'll need to feed it through the hole. We'll then use the four self-tapping screws, that come with the kit, to secure the plug to the side of the bed. Next, we're going to need to move down here underneath the vehicle. Now, we've already gone ahead and removed the spare tire to give ourselves a little more working room. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2005 Ford Escape- Video
Today on our 2005 Ford Escape, we'll be installing our Tow Ready T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Connector, part number 118426. First we'll go ahead and open up the rear hatch and then we'll need to remove both taillight assemblies. To remove the taillight assemblies, we'll need to remove the two screw fasteners that secure each one. Next we'll need to remove the taillight assembly, now to remove the taillight assembly we'll pull back towards the rear of the vehicle popping it free. There's two alignment tabs underneath that are still securing it so to assist we're going to get behind the lens with a plastic pry tool, you can also use a flat blade screwdriver just be careful not to scratch the paint. Once we pop them free we can go ahead and pull the taillight assembly out and remove the wiring connectors so we can set the taillight assembly aside. Here we can see the alignment tabs underneath. more

Today on our 2004 Ford Freestar, we'll be installing the Curt T Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for factory tow package four pole flat trailer connector. It's part number 56073. To begin our install, we'll start underneath the vehicle near the center, just behind the rear bumper. Here we can locate the manufacturer's tow port and remove it from the bumper panel. We'll use our trim panel tool or a flat bladed screwdriver. Once removed, we'll then need to remove the weather cap off the connector. To do this, I'll just use a flat bladed screwdriver and pry back the locks in the weather cap and then remove it. more

To begin our install we'll start underneath the vehicle near the center, just behind the rear bumper. Here we can locate the manufacturer's tow port and remove it from the bumper panel. We'll use our trim panel tool, or a flat blade screwdriver. Once removed, we'll then need to remove the weather cap off the connector. To do this, I'll just use a flat blade screwdriver and pry back the locks in the weather cap and then remove it. We can then take the Curt wiring harness and plug into the manufacturer's tow port. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2014 Ford Focus 118549- Video
Today on our 2014 Ford Focus Five Door we're going to be installing the Tow Ready T1 Vehicle Wiring Harness, part number 118549. We're going to begin by raising the rear hatch of the vehicle. Now that we have our rear hatch open go ahead and set this trunk cover aside for now. Go ahead and set the spare tire out as well. The reason why I took all that out is to gain access to this grommet that we'll be using in a little bit. Now that we have the trunk area cleared out next we're going to need to remove this panel right here to gain access to the nuts that are behind the taillight assembly. Simply push in and pull outward and set it aside. Now with our panel removed let's go ahead and point out the two plastic nuts that we'll need to remove. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2010 Ford Taurus- Video
Today on this 2010 Ford Taurus, we're going to install part number C56093. This is a Curt T connector vehicle wiring harness for four pole flat trailer connectors. We'll need access for our wiring, so we need to open up the trunk. Our wiring connections are going to be behind the taillights, so to get access to the panels behind them, we have to remove the threshold and the floor covering. Pull the weather strip back a little bit, sometimes you can do this, sometimes you can't, it makes it easier getting underneath the threshold. Pop it loose, I'm just using a plastic pry bar here to get underneath of it and gently pry up to unsnap it. There's a snap here, here, there's a snap here and one right here. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2013 Ford Explorer- Video
Today on our 2013 Ford Explorer we'll be installing the Tow Ready T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-pole flat trailer connector, part number 118540. Now to begin our install, we'll be underneath the vehicle on the passenger side. If you look to the outside of the muffler, you'll see two vehicle wiring connectors on this application. We'll be using the black connector. We'll first separate these two connection points by pressing on the locking tab and removing the socket from the connector. Then we can take the tow ready T-one connector and plug in line with the manufacturer's wiring. Taking the socket and plugging it into the connector and then the other end back into the vehicle wiring harness. Now with our connection made, we'll go ahead and take the 4-pole wiring and route it over to the center of the vehicle and down to the hitch staying away from the exhaust as much as possible. Once we finish routing, we'll go ahead and take the black zip ties provided with our install kit and secure the wiring. Once we have it secured, we'll go ahead and cut off the excess from the zip ties to clean up our install look. more

Today on this 2015 Ford F250 Super Duty Crew Cab we're going to install part number PK11893-11932. This is the Pollak 5th Wheel / Gooseneck T-Connector with 7-Pole Connector. Now to start off we need to do a little bit of pre-assembly with our wire harness. First off these ends need to be installed into this socket right here. Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2005 Ford F-350- Video
Today, on our 2005 Ford F350 Super Duty Crew Cab, we're going to be installing the Bargman 5th-wheel and gooseneck 90-degree wiring harness with a 7 pole and a 9 foot long lead. Part number 50-97-410. This vehicle does already have a 7 way gooseneck and 5th-wheel wiring but we're going to be replacing it with a new Bargman 7-way 5th-wheel gooseneck wiring. First remove the existing wiring that's already in place so that we can install our new wiring harness. I moved up here to the bed of the truck and as you can see there is already an existing 7-way plug in the bed that's part of the wiring we just undid underneath. This right here is what we'll be removing. Remove a couple screws that hold it in place. The new Bargman gooseneck 5th wheel wiring will actually tie in with the factory wiring and will allow you to use the 7-way down at the bumper as well as the new 7-way plug that will be mounted up here in the bed. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2014 Ford Edge C56120- Video
Today, on our 2014 Ford Edge, well be installing the Curt T-connector wiring harness with 4-pole flat trailer connector, part number C56120. To begin our install, we'll first open up the rear hatch. We need to locate the fasteners that secure the rear taillight assemblies. Once we've located the fasteners, we'll then go ahead and remove them. Once we remove the fasteners, we'll then go ahead and pull back on the taillight assembly to release the fasteners and alignment pins underneath. NOTE: It will be easier to remove if you take a flat-blade screwdriver or in this case we're using a plastic pry tool, get between the taillight assembly and the body of the vehicle and gently work it free. Here you can see the alignment pins underneath. Next, we'll remove the wiring connector from the taillight assembly. more

Hopkins Endurance Fifth Wheel Wiring Harness Installation - 2003 Ford F-350- Video
Today on our 2003 F350 Crew Cab Dually we'll be installing the Hopkins Endurance fifth wheel gooseneck 90 Degree Wiring Harness with 7-pull plug, part number 41157. To begin with we need to locate an area in the bed that we'll have to drill a hole so our new plug can be mounted to the side of the bed. We're going the go ahead and drill a hole here at the driver side rear on one of the ribs of the bed where it comes up a little bit to allow us a little extra room for the wiring in behind it. Before you drill any holes, make sure there's nothing behind it that could be damaged. First we need to use a hole saw to drill a 2-1/8 hole in our location that we've chosen in the bed. Now we'll go ahead and fish the end of the wiring harness with the two plugs through the hole and down to the ground. We'll keep the other end as we'll need to connect to the back of our new plug. more

Fifth Wheel Wiring Harness Installation - 2008 Ford F-450- Video
Today on this 2008 Ford F-450 Super Duty, we're going to install part number 54701-003. First up, let's find a location for our connector. In this instance, we're actually going to install about right here. That way it's easy to get access to it from the tailgate section. To install it, we're going to have to drill a pilot hole first, then go back at it with a 2 inch hole saw. Now, take our wire harness and run it through the hole and let it fall out the bottom. Take our 7 pole connector and push it into place. more

Hopkins Endurance Fifth Wheel Wiring Harness Installation - 2010 Ford F-350- Video
Today, in our 2010 Ford F350 Super Duty Crew Cab, we're going to be installing the Hopkins Endurance Fifth Wheel and Gooseneck 90 degree wiring harness with a seven-pole plug, part number 41157. We're going to need to choose a location in the bed so we can install our plug. On this truck, this area right in here works really because you're far enough away from the tie-down hook that it doesn't interfere with it, yet you're close enough if there's plenty of wire in the kit to reach the factory seven-way plug, somewhere in that area right there. Now we're going to need to go ahead and drill a two-and-an-eighth inch hole in order for our plug and wiring to fit through it. We'll go ahead and take a file, clean up any sharp edges we may have. Now, we're using a round file on our drill, but just a normal file will work just fine as well. We'll go ahead and vacuum our shavings real quick. We're going to ahead and take this end of the wiring harness. We're going to reach up underneath the truck, and feed it through the hole we just drilled. more

Fifth Wheel and Gooseneck Wiring Harness Installation - 2009 Ford F-250- Video
Today in our 2009 Ford Super Duty, well be installing the Pollak 5th Wheel and Goose Neck T-Connector with 7-Pole part number PK11893-11932. Now to begin our install, well first go ahead and find a location to mount the 7-Pole in the bed. Here on the drivers side between the taillight and the wheel well is a good location. Well go ahead and drill out a pilot hole for our hole saw bed. Once we have the pilot hole made, well take the hole saw and drill a larger hole thats just large enough to fit our 7-Pole Connector into the bed side. Once we have our hole drilled out, well then go ahead and take the wiring harness, feed it from underneath the vehicle , up to the hole we just made and then we can go ahead and take the wires and start installing them in the back of the Connector. Following the color coded chart that can be found on the website, go ahead and start installing the wiring connectors into the back of the black connector. more

Hopkins Endurance Fifth Wheel Wiring Harness Installation - 1999 Ford F-250- Video
Today on our 1999 Ford Super Duty, we'll be installing the Hopkins Endurance 5th wheel 90-degree wiring harness, part number 41157. Here's a 7-way plug for our wiring harness that we're going to install. First we'll show you where we're going to mount our 7-way connector. Want to keep it kind of low on the bed. We'll make our pilot hole right here, and follow that up with a 2-inch hole saw. With our hole now cut, we'll run the wiring harness down underneath the vehicle. We'll take the included terminal grease and apply that to our connections. We can then take our 7-way connector and plug it into the wiring harness. more
