Hi there Volt owners. Today, we're gonna be installing EcoHitch's two inch trailer hitch receiver on our 2012 Chevrolet Volt. And this is what our hitch is gonna look like when it's installed. It's a two inch by two inch receiver. So it's gonna be great for using bike racks and cargo carriers with it. I do not recommend doing any towing with your Volt as the owner's manual also recommends that you do not tow with your Volt. more

Hey everyone, Shane here with etrailer.com. Today I have a 2018 Chevrolet Volt, and I'm going to walk through how to install the EcoHitch Invisi trailer hitch receiver. When you're looking for a hitch for your Chevrolet Volt, backend sits a little bit low, when you compare this to the other two that are available, this one's not going to limit you to ground clearance. And it's going to be completely hidden when it's not in use. For this one, a receiver is actually going to be located right behind our license plate, where the other two, would come out down here at the bottom of our fascia. And as I've mentioned, they're going to limit you on a little bit of ground clearance, where this being up where it is we don't have that issue. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the etrailer trailer hitch receiver, here on a 2016 Chevrolet Colorado. So this is what our trailer hitch is gonna look like installed. Now it does have a mostly hidden design, and what I mean by this is, the crosstube of the trailer hitch is pretty much gonna be tucked up behind the bumper there. So the only thing we're gonna see is the receiver tube. Now, another thing I really like about this hitch is the finish. So there are a couple of different finish options on the market, most of them have more of a glossier powder coated finish, the etrailer hitch however, has more of a matte powder coated finish, and what this does is it does a better job of hiding nicks and scratches, it also helps them blend in with the vehicle more. more

Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2020 Chevrolet Bolt, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the EcoHitch trailer hitch receiver. While these compact vehicles do have a lot of upsides, providing us with excellent fuel savings and things like that, the downside is we don't have a ton of space on the inside. So if you're looking to carry around some things, maybe some bicycles, you're really gonna be limited on what you can keep inside. So by adding a hitch back here, that's really going to allow us to use different types of accessories and open up our options on what we can carry around. So probably my favorite thing about this hitch is the fact that it gives us that 2" by 2" receiver tube opening. more

Curt Class V XD Trailer Hitch Installation - 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video
Hi there, Chevrolet owners. Today on your 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Curt's Class 5 two inch trailer hitch receiver.This is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. Now, our customer does have an aftermarket bed installed on his truck here, but all the attachment points are going to be the same on your truck. The bed here doesn't interfere. If you do have any type of components like this, you just want to check the frame on the bottom side as well as on the inside of the frame, because that's where our attachments go. Once you have a factory bumper, it is going to stick out fairly similar to this one, although you're not going to have this cutout right here.It's a Class 5 2 x 2 inch receiver, so it's going to be great for all of your towing needs. more

Today we'll be taking a look at the best hitch options for your 2019 Chevrolet Volt.Over here we have our three best options for hitches that are available for our Chevy Volt. Now, me personally, I would go with the EcoHitch for a few different reasons, but while we have all three of them here, let's take a look at each one of them, check out some of the differences, the benefits and downsides of each one.Now, the first thing you might notice about our hitches is how different the design is on each one of them. And that's because all three of our hitches are going to use a different style and different mounting locations to get in place. But, the nice thing I will say about all of our hitches is, is that the cross tube is going to be hidden behind the bumper, and we're only going to see the receiver tube sticking out on all three.So the Volt we have in the shop, we actually just got done installing the Draw-Tite hitch, which you can see has a really clean appearance. more

Rob: Hey everybody. It's Rob here at @etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Draw-Tite Class I Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver on our 2020 Chevrolet Bolt. Our trailer hitch is going to a lot of different things for you. It's really going to open up a lot of doors, so we can transport gear with us and make it a little bit easier rather than trying to put everything in the inside of our Bolt. And I personally think if you're going to be using it for a cargo carrier or a bike rack, I prefer a hitch-mounted bike rack or cargo carrier rather than a roof mounted one, because I personally don't like the idea of lifting my bike over my head and having to get so close to the car to get it up there. more

Here with our hitch installed. You can pretty much only see the receiver tube opening, but there is a little bit of that cross tube visible from the rear of the vehicle. Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 Chevrolet Cruze- Video
Rob: Hey, everybody. Rob here at etrailer.com, and today we're going to be taking a look at the Curt Class I Custom Fit trailer receiver on our 2018 Chevrolet Cruze. And we know everybody wants to see what it looks like and go over some of the features first, so we're going to go ahead and do that now, but if you stick around to the end of the video, we're also going to make sure you can be confident enough to put the hitch on at home. So, we'll go through the installation process together.Right here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed. The cross tube is going to sit right below the bumper, but it is tucked back a little bit, so the main thing we're going to see is the receiver tube. Now, it is a Class I hitch, which means it's going to give us that inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter receiver tube opening, and it's going to be good for things like light duty towing. more

Now our class three hitch is going to be a good general purpose hitch. We're going to be able to tow with it and use a lot of other accessories because it is going to give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. So it is going to have the widest variety of options when it comes to accessories to mount up. Obviously tow trailer, maybe we could take some friends with us, put a bike rack in there, take some bikes with us, hit the trail, or possibly just make more room on the inside of our van, and use a cargo carrier to move that gear to the outside. more

Now our Class IV receiver still is going to give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening. So it's going to have a really wide variety of options when it comes to accessories. Obviously, everybody thinks of a trailer hitch, we can tow a trailer, we could throw a ball mount in there.And again, it is a Class IV so it's going to have slightly higher weight ratings than most Class III hitches. more

People use these vans for work, whether they're in construction, plumbing, or anything like that, but they also use them to just move a lot of people, because there's a work van edition and a passenger van edition.So whether you are using a hitch for a recreational purpose because you have a big family, you want to go to the park, could easily put a bike rack in here and carry some bikes with us. Maybe make some room for a road trip, put a cargo carrier back here.
