Today we're going to be taking a look at the Brophy Backing Plate designed for use with the recessed 5,000 pound D-Ring tie down. This part number is BP05. As you can see the four bolts that come through our tie-down are going to run right through our backing plate, allowing us to put on a lock washer and a nut and really spreading out that holding force over a greater area.
