Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Durabilt Web Sling Connector for 3/8 inch size hooks or links. Has a 7,100 pound working load limit. Now this connector here will prevent wear and tear on the slings when you're using it. The webbing sling connector allows attachment to a master link or a hook on one side and a sling on the other.

This is ideal for moving cargo, recovery and industrial applications. It does include everything shown here on the table, the two connector links that go together like that, a load pin, and then the retaining collar. Basically, it installs easily by hammering this load pin right here through the link and the retaining collar. So you put 'em together just like this, and then the retaining collar will go right in the middle and then you'll take your load pin, line it up just like that, and hit it with a hammer and that'll make a semi-permanent connection. The pin can be removed with a hammer and a punch.

As we mentioned, this part has a 7,100 pound safe working load limit. It is tested thoroughly to ensure that it can handle the load, and it is constructed of a tempered grade 80 steel. If you notice, it is finished in a nice, corrosion resistant highly visible, yellow powder coat finish. And as we mentioned, the application for this is 3/8 inch size links or hooks. And, again, just to mention the safe working load limit of 7,100 pounds.
