Fifth Wheel Height Adjustment Recommendation for Proper Overhand/Bed Rail Clearance

Can the hitch be lifted for more room between pickup bed and pin box assembly? Pullrite 2700 on ram 2013 1500

The head of your Pullrite 2700 Fifth Wheel Hitch is height adjustable so you should be able to adjust it to a higher setting to give you more clearance between the bed rails of your truck and the pin box of your trailer.
You will want at least 5 or 6 inches between the overhang of the hitch and the bedrails. You also want to make sure your trailer is being towed level.
