Recommended 7-Way Connector for a 2010 Ford Flex With OEM Class-III Trailer Hitch and No Wiring
Question:
I have a 2010 Ford Flex that Id like to pull a pop-up camper with. The camper requires a 7-way connector. The Flex has a universal hitch already but no tow wiring installed. What products do I need to install a 7-way connector. I think this would be a from scratch inch installation. Id also want to install a brake controller. Thank you.

The wiring harness you need is the 4-pole flat # 118472 since there isn't one on your 2010 Ford Flex.
You will also need a wiring kit # ETBC7. This kit includes everything you need to install an electric trailer brake controller and 7-way connector.
One of our most popular brake controllers is the Prodigy P2 # 90885. It includes digital display, 3 boost levels, battery protection and continuous diagnostics. It is also transferable to additional vehicles.
I highly recommend using dielectric grease such as # 11755 to help prevent corrosion from water exposure.
